We didn’t know about using a credit card on the MRT. Do you know if tap with Apple Pay works? Also, why do so many people line up at the ticket booth when the machines are so easy and fast?
Chatuchak is awesome and probably the most diverse market in the world. But it's not even close to being the largest market in the world. Many markets in Latin America are 2x, 3x one even 12x the size (Central de Abasto in Mexico DF). Heck it's not even the biggest market in Greater Bangkok. That would be Talad Thai in Rangsit.
Chatuchak Market has an area of 88 rai ( 35 acre), Talat Thai has an area of 542 rai ( 216.8 acre) 5 times bigger than Chatuchak Market, just different products.
I will use Fluentalk in Silom and ask the roti lady to marry me and have lots of children together. If you guys don't hear from me again, then it means that the roti lady made roti out of me.

It's a handy app for communication as well as google translate if you have trouble with Thai menu in local restaurant or food stall. I recommend to add Chatuchak Guide (available both of Android/IOS) cause the place is Hugh that you can't explore in one day.

Apple Pay does not work. The ticket booths are faster then the machines :-)

Yes, you can just tap your credit card. Only at the MRT Lines and SRT Red Line.
