I was there six years ago. It is so sad to see how many shops are closed. When I was there the market was so busy and it felt like one day was not enough to go around the market
Nice update again Jeroen shoppers paradise I no lads that used to come here to buy vintage clothes many years ago now,,,peace and happiness as always,,
This is one of my favourite markets in Bangkok. Especially on the weekends. We get there early morning and I start the arduous journey of carrying the bags for the Mrs while she happily stops at every stall..😂 Love the video 👍🏽
wow. nice to see this after 2 years. Not typical Chatuchak market now. Maybe the covid less shops and people. I guess Saturday must be more crowd than Sunday.
Hi Jeroen, thanks for all of your efforts, much appreciated. I wanted to ask you when did you take a bike tour of the park? i do remember you telling us a few weeks ago that you would and upload the video but so far i can't find the video. When i was in BKK about a year and a half ago, i got lost in the park on my way to the minivan terminal and a kind English speaking Thai gent who just happened to be taking his morning run guided me out of there. good thing, i would never would have made to my bus departure on time without this help. thumbs up.. keep up the good and fun work
Thanks Jeroen, much appreciated, now i know why i couldn't find it. The title of your March 2021video is Rot Fai Park, not Chatuchak Park. I did watch that video previously. Very nice. I was wondering, could you do a walk through the park near the market in the future? Getting lost in there showed me quite a bit of the park in that area. Between the market and the park , it probably would take a whole day to do. Again thanks for giving me the link the video and i enjoy watching all of your videos.
Spice Smile! I always buy from them so it's nice to see them featured in your video! By any chance, do you know if the new terminal at Suvarnabhumi is in operation yet? I am so curious to get updates about it. Thanks and cheers from Canada.
Quite sad to see jj market in this situation most shops remain closed. I' d been many years ago and it was crowded. I don't like much heat and crowded places but in that state it was much better and lively for this place.
A little depressing that the few who were open didn't seem to have much business. Is it the lack of tourists or Thais don't have spending money? Thailand needs to open up the economy. The Spice Must Flow.
“I don’t think this is the time to negotiate” - YES! Chatuchak still looks lovely albeit less lively. #GTMTime
I’ve not been to Chatuchak for a very long time. It’s very quiet there now. Thank you for the video. ❤️🇹🇭❤️🇹🇭❤️🇹🇭

That was a nice leisurely stroll on a Sunday morning.... thanks for sharing the BTS and MRT ride options.

Love this place! So unique! And I appreciate your positive attitude even when most of the shops are closed and it’s quiet.

Thank you Jeroen for the new virtual tour of Chatuchak Market, the largest market in Thailand and one of the best known in the world.🤟
The first time for me to see the JJ Market so quiet and empty. So sad for the shops. 🙏

Nice content like this. The market very completed.
Great video and information
in all of the many times I've been to Bangkok I've never been to this market. Looks like lots of nice stuff though. Maybe next time.
impressive recordings thanks for sharing
Nice one. Anything going on in Silom?
Chatuchak is a great Market in Bangkok. It is busy now again.
Maybe I check it soon :-)

I’m pretty sure the head is a Thai styled version of Michelangelo’s David.
Yes, I thought so to :-)
never seen chatuchak so quite.damn the c virus.hope i can visit it again soon.
Queen Sirikit National Convention Center is being built. There has been a lot of progress. 😅
Can you do a video around Samut Prakhan, and maybe a bike ride around
Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan park and botanical garden will be great too :D
It’s very sad to see so many closed stores.
Nice but the market looks so grim without the tourists.
Are there any furniture places, either new small maker, or vintage/recycled pieces?
Sure, many furniture vendors in the market
Swadi Cat! 🤣😂🤣

On 13:44 these are nice pan 🍳 fried.
