When I live down there when I was 15 I would stay boat to boat and when Sharee had the apartment upstairs they would party in the back and it used to piss me off because she would never let me back there that's only because you guys were doing hard drugs and she didn't want me on them so I thank her for that and all the fishermen because they never allowed me to see or be around that so thank you and it's unfortunate that people don't see how it really is to live on the boat docks so I don't know why this documentary stopped it's beautiful it allows somebody to see how life on the docks really is ... It's a big party.. but it's also a really big family I was there right when they started making The perfect Storm because I can remember somebody saying how excited they were that finally somebody was causing attention to the fisherman and how hard they work and what they risk every day.
And that was a beautiful thing for a lot of the fishermen and the woman working the galleys... I believe that fishermen should have insurance why not.. it's a job I believe they should be more recognized than they are.. that's for sure

I grew up with Rodney around. He was my neighbor and good friends uncle. He did and still does live with his mother when he isn't fishing, or in jail (arrested 40+ times). He is indeed a junkie and crazy as all hell but has been all over the place fishing surprisingly and works hard. Even freshwater fishing, he would bring home exotic fish and toss them into the lake we had. It is quite funny to see him on RUclips. I still see him occasionally riding his bike around when he's home.

I can assure that the last thing we were worried about was UV light. When it takes 24 hours of steaming to get to your numbers (The waters that the Captain is familiar with and successful on) your life depends on the other guys on your boat. I've seen fingers cut off many different ways, guys hooked while setting gear and pulled overboard, major cuts that would make a surgeon cringe, shark bites, infections galore, hooked or gaffed, poisoned from fish fins, you name it. And when it takes 5-12 hours for the ambulance to arrive, you will not be worried about Sun Block.

Nah i think its because he barely eats anything since most chemically assisted drugs leave a person with no appetite since the drugs entering the body is basicly poision and the body will try to stop all intake other than water while sweating allot and trying to get the body to exit all bodily fluids and extremedies in an effort to purify itself.
