I always love seeing all the works in progress and finishes. Everything is always so beautiful. I always make a list of everything I want to purchase. Including a lap frame or a floor frame. I can’t imagine how many projects I could complete Caroline if I had as many frames as you! I always wondered how you were able to fly through so many charts. Compared to me with my little Qsnap. 😜 I’m just kidding. It’s your job. And I’m happy that you have those tools at your disposal. You need them for your work. I’m just jealous I can’t get through my projects as quickly. But, I have some Bible study friends who have invited me to come visit them in their beach cottage on their island. So I suspect I might or might not get a bit of peaceful stitching done while I’m away repairing my soul. I really was just kidding. 💕Staysea. It’s actually a myth that George Washington chopped down a cherry tree. When given a hatchet at the age of six, George’s father was upset when he found a cut on one of his cherry trees. When asking George about it George declared “I can not tell a lie I did cut thee apple tree.” Years later This iconic story about the value of honesty was invented by one of Washington’s first biographers, a traveling minister and bookseller named Mason Locke Weems. After Washington’s death in 1799, people were anxious to learn about the first President. Weems explained to a publisher in January 1800:
"Washington you know is gone! Millions are gaping to read something about him...My plan! I give his history, sufficiently minute…I then go on to show that his unparalleled rise and elevation were due to his Great Virtues."

I share your love of Canadian Tire. The wine glasses in our cottage in Canada came from CT, along with many other random things. We have nothing quite like it in the States. The tree G. Washington was purported to chop down was a cherry tree - Caroline was right. One last thing - did you remember to order bubble mailers? 😀

Order Bubble Mailers Caroline!!! Wow Kerri that is some heavy stitching for the MFE SAL. Good job for getting it done. I'm still working on the 2021 SAL and I'm only in April. 🤭 Woo Hoo for the 2024 SAL. Kerri, I loved all of the colors you used for the past two years so thank you for those. I am however really intrigued about this year. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all of the incredibly hard work the whole team does to get us these precious advent calendars. Waking up every morning from the 1st to the 25th of Dec to not only the gift in the envelope but also the gift of stitching with so many people is beyond wonderful and brings me incredible joy. So again, thanks to all of you busy bees. 🐝❤🐝

I am very tempted to join the Holiday Countdown this year.

Hidden Zippers or Laced Zippers really screams of maximum concentration 😳🥴

Nice to see you two again as always. Sorry you had to start dealing with all of the tax stuff. In Illinois there is a state sales tax. Then the different counties in the state can add to that, individual cities can add to it. That's why there are different rates depending on where you live in the state. Can't make things simple of course. Take care.

Illinois has a set state tax and then each county (there are 102) has it's own county tax. Thus Chicago (located in "crook" county) is much more then the rest of the state.

As far as the Christmas SAL goes - I've not seen anything hideous come out of your shop - remember you can't please all of the people all of the time - so, people make a choice to participate or not. I'm all in - it was too fun watching the '23 SAL! Doesn't really matter if it suits my home - it will suit someone's... and it will be mostly DONE come the end! So many nice things to add to my list! I’ve bought the pdf for your Kathy Barrick - I’ll check the website for the Roxy conversion.
Also planning to start the sleeper SAL.
And I have a question … your # for 50 that I saw in the last flosstube … what does it mean? Thanks!

Super excited for round 2 of #kerrisdirtychristmas. Any chance you would offer stitchnorth fall delivery to save shipping?

🤣 well yes - but we would have to charge you our provincial sales tax for that privilege. So pick your poison. ☠️
