Hi both, when Caroline said that Kerri had hired a car for the England trip I did a double take and stopped stitching. We have horribly busy, overcrowded motorways with frequent traffic jams. But then I’m sure you have busy roads in your part of Canada - and as long as you are confident you’ll be fine. Take your time - there are plenty of motorway services. The M25 around London will probably be the worst part. I’m from Northern England and you’re getting there with pronouncing Rotherham - just roll it all together. So wish I was going to the Big Stitch! I couldn’t make the dates. And thanks for coming to England - we are a particularly friendly bunch up north xx

Keep the needle Kerrie..i am glad you like the yarn. Caroline i beieve that the Pako organizer is to put the symbol in instead of the DMC #. That way you go right to the colour from the key. I had my first driving lesson hauling our 35 ft 5th wheel with the 77 Dodge 1 ton that is also a standard. 0-80 km an hour in about 18 minutes. 😊
Love you two! The teal bobbin kit is beautiful. I stitch in hand or hoop/q snap with my pattern at top and pencil to mark off stitches. I am planning (goals) to try a frame and an iPad program in future. I am still trying to finish “fruits of plenty “. It’s getting close. Then I am immediately starting another MFE piece. Caroline, I found some wonderful ladies tops at Duluth Trading that are 2 inches longer than regular t-shirts and long sleeve T-shirts. I bought several and am very happy with the quality.
The movie night sounds fabulous, too long of a drive I think but also it’s my Anniversary. As tempting as it might be my husband might want to celebrate with me.
I visited Hardwicke Hall about 20 years ago and it was awesome, I hope you enjoy it. Then I was in Amsterdam on June 10th (just before a cruise) and Jacob so kindly came and did a talk with a bunch of us stitcher's that were going on the cruise. Such a nice man, loved the antique samplers he brought and all the knowledge he shared with us. I know you guys will have a great time.

I would use gridded fabric for full coverage. I do a lot of them and the grid is worth it if the fabric isn’t showing. It would be terrible to get halfway through and find your fabric has messed up your stitches.
Seriously, I always loved the color teal. One of my friends had a custom painted Mustang in teal that I lusted after!😂 Have a blast in the UK. Remember, go to the left when entering the roundabouts! I wish I was hiding in the glove box laughing with you on your "toads wild ride" to Ratham. Be safe!❤☮️

The vision issue is real. I do understand. I like to watch tv and stitch. Usually it’s listen to tv and stitch. But sometimes there is something I really want to keep an eye on as I’m stitching so I’m flipping my glasses up to stitch and down to watch the tv, up to stitch, down to watch tv. It’s so frustrating. My other hobby is snorkeling. I love to see the little nests of tropical fish as I snorkel. Imagine my surprise as one day I was swimming with a school of fish and I came face to face with a barracuda which I did not see coming. I was swimming in 3 ft water. WOW! I fell out of that water so fast!
