I am stitching the 'E' chart by Gigi R for my maiden name on 46ct Aztec Red with 3 different green silks & 3 different blue silks. About 1/3 done. also doing the K on navy linen with red silks.

The pattern came from Country Sampler, the name is Country Sampler Project Roll in case you are interested. I modified the width measurement from 13 to 18, other than that I followed the pattern.

Do you think the blue donkey was originally stitched in black and it has faded to blue in the antique?
Typically designers look at the back of the Antique to see if the colors differ from the front. I am not sure though how Gigi charts hers. Happy stitching
