You didn’t mention my FAVORITE keto item at Costco: KETO BARS! They are dark chocolate covered keto ice cream bars made with cream and stevia. They are incredible!

i feel like the biggest part of my keto success was sticking to a cleaner diet and reducing cravings by avoiding temptations...now that I'm in maintenance mode, the more 'keto products' are out there, the harder it gets for me
once you go clean these keto processed foods are just terrible in taste and healthyness
Completely agree with you and learning how bad almond milk and almond flour is for you.....so high in oxalates
The Hilo chips are worth every penny! We love making nacho's and taco salads with them.
How do they compare to Quest tortilla chips??

The executive membership actually pretty much pays for itself with the check they mail you back every year! Do the math. It only costs another $60 per year, but you get back 2%. If you spend $3000 per year it pays for itself. Between you and me I can't go to Costco without spending $200 so if I average 1-2 times a month I am ahead.
I usually come out $25-$40 dollars ahead but this year the check was something like $250 because we bought some furniture
The Hi-Lo is so close to a real tortilla chip. Love them.
The innofoods coconut clusters are delicious! You passed on them, the one's in the orange bag. I jusy got them and finished the bag over several days. The 1oz serving is actually larger than you'd think and i check my ketones with a blood meeter 3 times a day and I stayed well above the 0.5 mark. Usually about 1.0.

Can’t buy them again. They are so good that I ate too many. I think the cane sugar made me want to eat junk after that. Love their crackers though.
When I look at the total carbs in almost all the Costco “Keto” foods I pass. I do keto to keep my blood sugar under control and have found that total carbs is what counts. I agree that if you are looking for alternatives to the SAD they would be good options.

Yeah, the stir fry cauliflower rice is great. Put in a few eggs and shrimp good meal.
Sonoma pork rind cheddar crisps, Moon Cheese, Stryve beef biltong, Tillamook zero sugar jerky, Bavarian Meats lil landjaeger smoked sausage sticks, Chomps beef sticks, NuTrail keto glazed pecans, Hoody's everything bagel seasoning cashews, Kirkland Marcona almonds, Realgood's mozzarella-parmesan-fontina stuffed bacon wrapped chicken, Sabatino's paleo basil pepper chicken sausage, Killer Creamery keto salted caramel ice cream bars, Rebel double chocolate ice cream, Milkadamia nut milk, Crepini cauliflower egg wraps, Folio cheese wraps. I finally broke down and bought the humongous jar of Ghee for $25. Waiting to see the Hilo chips, will try for sure!
I have to pause every 30 seconds to add stuff to my Costco shopping list :) Cauliflower stir fry is my favorite Costco keto item these days. Coconut keto clusters are DANGEROUS, so good.

Something I will definitely be getting again that wasn't mentioned in your video is the Parmesan folios cheese wraps and the avocado salsa. The salsa came in a large tub and my husband thought maybe we should freeze some of it (just the two of us). No time for it to go bad....we loved it. I hope it is something that Costco keeps!!

those teton farms polish sausages have the best ingredients of anything in the processed meat section. i recently found amylu's andouille chicken sausages and sabatino's basil chicken sausages are two other's i have found with 0 added sugar.
when it comes to sardines, wild planet used to be the best tasting, but i find it's dependent on the batch you get. meanwhile, season sardines, on the other hand, i find more "consistent" so they will taste good basically every time.

I like the Choc Keto chocolate snacks too. They are great to stuff in my purse when we go to the movies.
Someone else posted that the butters taste the same. I buy Kerrygold when it comes on sale. I will be trying the Kirkland brand as I am almost out. Great haul. I wish all Costcos carried the same thing. I know I won't find half of what you did. But I will look.
The difference I found between the butters is the Kirkland brand stays hard longer. Hard to spread. I'll stick with Kerrygold. Pam

The rotisserie chickens are called "loss leaders" as they are cheap and lead to more other sales. I would stay away from them. Usually they raised on GMO grains and antibiotics.

I, too, ventured into Costco recently and was super shocked at all the “keto” branded items. Glad it’s catching on but hope folks still pay attention to the ingredients. Was super happy to see HiLo Life in there but already bought a bunch from Amazon, will get them at Costco next time. Tattooed Chef fried cauliflower rice is frickin Amazing! I did pickup the carbonaut keto buns and they taste pretty good
many of the "keto clusters" I've seen at costco aren't keto, because of the sugar! I've never bought them for that reason. Total false advertising!

Kroger carries something called Nutchos that are THE BEST keto tortilla chips EVER! Made of four ingredients-- almond flour, tapioca flour, almond oil, and sea salt. SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!! The regular sea salt variety taste fantastic, and the guacamole flavor is absolutely out of this world! And I don’t even like guacamole!!! The texture and crunch is just like a restaurant style tortilla chip!
Costco, walmart please come to the Caribbean....Trinidad....we need you we dying out here.
The grain free bars are so good. I use them as a treat.
I saw the Hilo chips in Costco during my last trip and did not like the ingredients, e.g., high processed sunflower oil, potato starch, etc. But for others it may work for them.

They don’t use that sweetener at Starbucks anymore in the SF Bay Area (not sure about GA) unfortunately. Starbucks is pushing the horrible Stevia in the Raw with maltodextrin crap.

My Costco had organic cauliflower bites. Which to my surprise ended up being like dried and salted cauliflower florets. Delicious.
My Costco didn’t have the Hilo chips, keto bites, or cereal. I also got some of the keto bread.

The key to the Costco rotisserie chickens is to get the ones with the least amount of brown / char on the skin. The ones that are very dark will tend to be more dry. Pick the ones with the lightest skin color...they are much more plump and tender.
The frozen cauliflower rice is actually pretty good. I doctor it up by adding minced garlic, a little soy sauce, and some japanese mayo, when I cook it. Probably the only cauliflower product I enjoy eating.

Those Hilo Chips are pretty darn close to Doritos considering they’re keto.
Grabbed a lot of high net carb products. Wouldn't call half of what you picked up as keto friendly.
He said the blueberry keto granola was like 7 or 8 net carbs but on the bag says 3 net. I don't believe they subtract sugar alcohols.

DO IT. You won't be disappointed. My uncle has been bugging me for the past 8 years to get a membership, and I was always like "We don't need to buy things in Bulk... so I don't see a point". I wish I just did it. Just got a membership a few months ago and I'm kicking my ass for not getting onto the trend earlier. Their quality of products imo is far superior than our regular grocery store.
I imagine people who have less seizures when in ketosis see you two as angels!

I love the Keto options, but as a diabetic I have to go by total carb. And not net carbs. However they do recommend the keto diet now.

Edit: Checked on am@zon, it's 3 net carbs per 28 oz serving. With 10g fat and 220 sodium they don't seem too bad in moderation.

Matt misspoke. It's per serving. Maybe I had a bad bag but there was not enough cheese flavor when I tried them.

There are hidden ingredients in lots of things that aren't keto friendly, like stevia in the raw that has maltodextrin in it!
But they're not really hidden, everything is on the ingredients panel. Some labelling is misleading though
I liked the Hilo chips until I tried Quest loaded nacho chips. Quest is 100 times better tasting in my opinion. Hilo chips- you can taste the almond flour.
All the Costco's near me, (Washington state), do not carry the Hilo chips, so mad!:( I need the item # ! Wish you would have flashed it:)🧡

The egg wrap crepes are the best for making enchiladas. They are delicate so you have to be careful but so worth it. I make them with Barbacoa meat they sell seasonally but you can always buy a rotisserie chicken and do chicken enchiladas.

I gotta say as someone who shops at Costco they really do have a wide selection of keto items. I try not to eat them too often as they’re not super clean or nutritious all the time. Their keto granola though is awesome.

Matt, I don’t know what you are doing with the Costco rotisserie chickens to make them dry. 🤣 I’ve bought them for ever and they are always very juicy. Maybe that Costco overcooks them. 🤔
I have yet to try a Costco rotisserie chicken that was good. They're not as juicy and there's no seasoning on them. Not even salt.
@@drelle504, I’m sorry to hear that. One would think that a major retailer like Costco would have industry wide standards for their stores. As I stated above, I have never had anything but delicious, properly seasoned rotisserie chicken from Costco. They are always bigger and better tasting than any supermarket rotisserie chicken.
Saw the chips on Bobby Parish’s Costco video but he mentioned the high processed sunflower oil as first ingredient and yeast extract… kinda turned me off when I saw them at the store yesterday
