To all those wondering why anyone would play this instead of hockey, is that at least here in northern Europe we play this in schools a lot. It's a lot easier to grasp than hockey and doesn't require nearly as much equipment. Then, after spending your entire childhood playing this many kids decide to take it up as a proper hobby, and then when enough people do that the adults' elite leagues are bound to become reality.
I mean goalies in floorball usually save about 3/4th of the shots and about every other penalty shot. So in floorball you get scores like 10-5 instead of "Oh they won by one goal or it's a tie? That's nice"
Well you can ofcourse have 7-7 games and 5-4 games in floorball as well. In other words, winning by one goal or going to overtime. So your point is invalid. However, they score more goals than other sports.
Looks fun might have to try it during hockey offseason. Can't imagine how people are saying this is faster and just as physical so I'll just have to see for myself.

+Sterak's Gage I watched the clip a few times to be sure and I don't think it hits the helmet. If you look closely you can see that it actually hits the back post instead. This is also why the ball goes to the back of the net without really touching the "middle flap", which doesn't usually reach all the way to the goal posts.
As far as I can see, no, it didn't. I won't say with full certainty since the angle of the video is not parallel to the goal. It does seem like the ref agrees though.
+aaron maxim I am a goalkeeper and I would imagine being a hockey goalie to be worse just because of the fact that you can only use one hand since you're holding a stick with the other.
+SamGau07 Trickshots floorball has been an alternate sport if you find it difficult to skate. its also good practise if you play hockey. the motion and flow of the game is really similar, and it fun as hell.

Number 1 was pretty underwhelming after watching the other goals.

Stepping is way to slow and leaves the corners open for fast zorros around the posts. The ball can go faster around corners in floorball since you're standing still. The hockey player said that in floorball you dont tackle and if you touch the player a bit, he starts to cry and you get a penalty. The floorball player said that hockey is more for cowards because in hockey you use "armor protection"

apparently there’s no rules in “floorball” shootouts. We called it floor hockey and the goalie got full gear pads cloves and a stick it was fun as hell we played daily back in the day

It's pretty much the same thing as ball/floor hockey. Goalies also have the same gear as ice hockey goalies. So this looks pretty fun as well. I played floor and ball hockey for years, street hockey, etc.
