Me and my mom had the honor of getting to be in this video. It was such an awesome experience and getting to meet her was amazing.
I discovered this song when it was playing on a Los Angeles radio station where I live. I instantly assumed it was based on todays protests and events. But after watching the video (this one) I realized it was 2017. Things have not changed much. Back to this video. After watching it the first time, I can not stop watching. I watch it at last once a week. I listen to the song maybe each time I relax and listen to my tunes. The VIDEO is a must! It gives me goose-bumps (the good ones) and butterflies (also the good ones) every single time I watch it. It is fun, funky, makes you want to dance while making you feel love for the USA, so patriotic. And I must say I was never an MLK fan, until I saw the end of this video...WOW. It get to you. He did have a vision bestowed by Christ. Just watch this. I am shocked it does not have millions of views... especially these days. Sheila E still rocks! God bless the USA!

To serve & protect the military ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. those concepts phrase keep Humans in control make them think what they are doing is keeping everyone safe and secure. Blacks in the military go at least some for financial gain and others because they really think they are doing something great. I'll never understand Brothers who wanna enter N2 the military to protect the Constitution of the United States of America. if you are Black it wasn't written for Blacks to benefit Blacks come on look at what's going on around you.
the connection I felt to PRINCE was there because I play guitar and I have no problem saying that I am a disciple of Jimi Hendrix. The US national anthem is not just very difficult to sing, but kind of sad in that it is more about the glorification of war and the protection of a flag than about expressing our ideals and protecting our people, but this helps to re-frame and reclaim it.
