The best version is on Trilogy. I remember when in 1996 in Rotterdam with the opening night of the Swings Tour they performed it as the last song of the main set. I never expected they would rehash it. I was completely blown away. In 2000 It was the last song of the entire concert. Absolutely beautiful.
@@daniel1974nl Meh. I personally disagree. I think the 1990 version is the best. Think it was in France? The red and blue lightning looks so cool and rich despite the low quality video. I also think it's an example of Boris' excellent drumming skills, considering how much shorter it is than the album version. That's my favourite. Robert is also brilliant as always 🫶

FACT... I saw The Cure live in 2005 at "Live 8" and Porl Thompson was on stage !!Its on youtube along with dozen of others from 2005 , 2006 and so on ... Anything else Enstein ?? If not sit down and study you"re cure triva because you"re wrong lol
Some Cure songs sound good with a paired down lineup. But this song just needs the keyboards for that dynamic range. Unfortunately, i have to agree that this is their weakest live lineup.
