Excellent review! It's fascinating to think that certain types of Uzi's are actually legal in the UK! We did a review about the original (full-auto 9mm) Uzi. Feel free to check it out! ruclips.net/video/sgc2vrCSJ2o/видео.html
Hi fella... listen, each to their own, (I shoot, but I'm not into the dress-up guns).... but... my personal views aside... have you looked into being legally able to shoot that daft thing like a pistol with the stock folded! Once folded, I bet if falls well below the legal length limit and given the way licensing is at the moment, you may get a knock on your door for breach of sec.1 firearms laws; (using a prohibited firearm). I am NOT hating on you here, (as I say, each to their own), I'm just saying you may want to look at the law and see where you stand with it. You may even want to edit your video to prevent somebody else falling foul. Feel free to delete this comment once read... I'm just trying to alert you to a potential issue. If you've already looked into it and your FLO is fine with using a short firearm, (or you have some sort of variation to allow for it), then fine, (more power to your elbow)... but maybe let the viewers know the position too. Regards, A rifle shooting Fud 🙂
@MKChase-uj9vx it would be illegal to sell a firearm that does not meet minimum length requirements when folded. The lengtg limit must take into account any folding or removal parts. Thats why it has the faux suppressor (its actually just a shroud for a longer barrel), so that it meets minimum length requirements. Any firearms in the UK must meet these in any configuration or else it would be illegal. So no, in its folded state it does not become section 5 as that would make it illegal even in its unfolded state.
@@UKGuns I'm with you.... so they've made it so that it is just over 24" with the stock folded. Lol... so long as you've covered your bases. I guess that's why you didn't unscrew the shroud when the stock was folded then... I get it. Like I say, this stuff isn't my bag, but that doesn't mean I would want to see somebody accidentally fall foul of something and find themselves in hot water. Cheers for taking the time to explain it to me.
@MKChase-uj9vx yeh exactly, no worries. Even with the shroud remived the barrel is pinned in place so it would still be over 24". The law basically states that the gun has to be 24" with a 12" barrell regardless of the configuration. Otherwise it would be illegal. So even a stock that can be removed with screws can not be counted as part of the overall length. It must be permanently pinned or welded. Innthe case of this rifle they permanently pin the barrell so that it along with the reciever exceed 24" thus the stock is not included in the overall length and so not only can it fold but can be removed entirely.
@ USA population is actually 8 times the size of the UK so we’ll multiply 29 by 8, that amounts to 312. Still not close to 18,000 is it. I don’t think the actual size of the USA makes any difference tbh. If anything it makes it a bit harder to find someone to shoot.
You can’t argue with statistics, I’ve actually underplayed it a bit. In 1990 there were 37,155 gun related deaths in the USA. In 2021 there were 48,850 gun related deaths in the USA. And yes, we have people with mental health problems roaming the streets but we don’t sell guns to them. The big difference we have in the uk is the fact that a disagreement with a neighbour/driver/mugger does not result in a shooting. Btw these statistics aren’t mine, maybe look them up.
@@ET.s4 btw you have a tyrannical government, you also have in your possession 46% of the world’s civilian held firearms, add to this the fact that 70% of the firearms in Mexico came from the USA. The Uk has tight knife laws, restricting the type and size of any carried knife. The population of Micronesia is just over 100k, not a very good comparison tbh
@@ET.s4 2 things, it’s not about crime it’s about gun deaths, and as the Uk has over 680 times the population of Micronesia it’s not much of a comparison, whereas the USA has only a few times the population of the Uk. Im sorry but guns in UK are ridiculous, bolt action FAMAS? :D
Most gun owners in the uk aren’t interested in military style firearms. Most guns here are shotguns, bolt actions or traditional, wooden stocked .22lr rifles. These sort of things are pretty niche.
@@josephfoulger9628 That's true I'd go as far as guess maybe 70-80% of all firearms in the UK has a wooden stock.
Vast majority (that arn't shotguns of course) will be some type of .22LR used for rabbiting ect.

Can't be UK legal air rifles in Scotland have been band for 9 years or something after the baby got shot dead on the head .
This isn't an air rifle, and air rifles aren't banned in Scotland, but you do need an air weapon certificate for them.
I thort you couldn't shoot another person's firearm in the UK?
At a Home Office aproved range you're covered under the gun club exemption,
Provided it's not a LBP or Section 1 shotgun and you're a member of course.
You can own one under someone elses licence aslong as its kept in their safe and fired under their and clubs supervision

Excellent review! It's fascinating to think that certain types of Uzi's are actually legal in the UK! We did a review about the original (full-auto 9mm) Uzi. Feel free to check it out! ruclips.net/video/sgc2vrCSJ2o/видео.html

Im a Brit and even i know its "twenty two light". Why on earth would it be "two two L R" CMOM UR REPRESENTING US
Hi fella... listen, each to their own, (I shoot, but I'm not into the dress-up guns).... but... my personal views aside... have you looked into being legally able to shoot that daft thing like a pistol with the stock folded!
Regards,
A rifle shooting Fud 🙂
@@UKGuns Cheers, I've learned a bit there 👍
@MKChase-uj9vx no worries, thanks!
Uh oh
Fun fact it’s Not an uzi 😂

2024 uk 29 gun deaths. 2024 USA 18,600 you choose
@ USA population is actually 8 times the size of the UK so we’ll multiply 29 by 8, that amounts to 312. Still not close to 18,000 is it. I don’t think the actual size of the USA makes any difference tbh. If anything it makes it a bit harder to find someone to shoot.
@@ET.s4 not in the biggest cities? It’s not what
You can’t argue with statistics, I’ve actually underplayed it a bit.
But then the crap that Trump is coming out with, your going to need every one of your 393 million privately owned firearms. The USA is a beautiful country, your lucky in that respect, but looking at the corruption in your police and local governments I wouldn’t live there for bet
