I previously decided to vinyl wrap the interior trim of my e93 BMW 335i and now it was time to get rid of the old, decaying steering wheel. By installing a new custom made steering wheel, not only did it make the interior look modern again but it also enhanced the my driving experience.

I was actually at this exact same wheel a few weeks ago for a car that I don't even have😂 but since I want a 335i I genuinely enjoy your videos plus I dig the carbon fibre wrap I'd have gone with the same thing
I don't know why but when you dropped top, that whole transition of the top getting put away in the trunk, f*cking loved it.
That was a beautiful scene.

Very similar to my 135i m sport wheel minus the Alcantara and 12oclock strip ontop. Also less pronounced side grips but still the best steering wheel iv ever layed hands on. The whole steering feel on these cars is just so good .
you helped me get educated on n54 engine and modding. after many year of only owning a e250 work van i decided to get that bmw for a weekend car. ended up going with n55 2011 135i. 50k miles with a stage 3 DINAN tune the dealer had no idea the value of. dropped on koni yellows and bbs wheels with brand new tires. i'm blessed today and had to share!

Thats a good looking steeringwheel, i have a flat bottom sport steering-wheel myself in my Mercedes-Benz w176 and it its so much better than a normal steeringwheel

Tell me you weren't thinking about the air bag deploying even though the battery was disconnected 🤣 its natural if you did because there is always a risk when handling air bags..
I was. I was trying to keep my head towards the sides of the steering wheel and not the direct center lol.

1 - Not too hot in summer.
2- Not too cold in winter.

I would keep the M badge. I have a 335i with M-sport package and it comes with the M badge there from the factory.

People make such a big deal about badges, who cares. It's your car, out whatever badges on you want to.
Vehicle Virals All m sports for over the last 2 decades have had badges like that on the steering wheel and on the wheels and other places. It’s not the full m car it’s just the m sport stuff. BMW makes even more factory things called m performance parts that have m all over it. You can apply the factory parts to any car it doesn’t have to be an m sport.
What people don’t like is when you out say an m3 badge on that 335i in the back when it’s not that.

If you ever decide to change the carbon fiber wrap... maybe something that simulates aluminum might be an option.. or maybe wrap the parts in the same vinyl as the body wrap.

Hey, out of topic, but can you make a video about cheap and fast cars with low maintenance or cheap maintenance costs
You haven’t put on the N54 badge yet. I noticed the steering seems pretty heavy. Lighter steering can allow you to whip the car around corners faster or effortlessly. I like the dual setting for comfort and sport mode not sure if they had that for the e9x. Personally like the wood grain pieces of the original interior trim adds a little bit of luxury to the car vs all black makes it too dark.

I thought about this once and also upgrading to a screen etc...but I felt keeping the wood trim was true to the model. Im 50 yo. My "Josephine" is old and not hiding it. Itd be like dying my iair to look younger. I DO like what YOU did though. Id consider changing the old steering wheel. I like the thicker wheel but I dont really like using the wheel covers. Plus I cant use the warner feature so.
