The Hurracan is an over designed mess, but tastes are subjective. The best looking cars they've produced were the Murcielago, Gallardo, and the new Countach LP-800.

@@10CentWenty the new model simply looks like a sports Project honda made in an IT tech lab. The front grille is too 'raked up' and tall - the whole point of what made the front end of the Huracan iconic is it was a Perfect modern and minimalist Wedged shaped design. No fuss, but pure and modern lines. It was special, before the post-Modern days of people that were too bored got back to the tables and 'over designed'.

I kinda hate the hexagonal lights in the front bumper, looks like two big barnacles. If they removed them or changed the shape the car would look much much better. Also not a fan of the mclaren gt style taillights but they're not as offensive.

Everything about this styling sucks. Looks like lambo hired a 6 year old to draw it as the kid’s afterthought. The new revuelto sucks too…should be renamed repulsiveto 😅. And before people say ‘you can never own a lambo’, I have an lp560-4 gallardo…the old lambos had classy styling: the new designs are looking horrendous. Thinking of upgrading to a huracan from my gallardo.

The late 2000s were the pinnacle for car designs, I believe LP Gallardo and Aventadors have the best presence/design out of the all of them. Certainly the last mechanical feeling Lambos with the raw single clutch transmission shifts

The current Huracan is the timeless design.
Personally love it except for the side intake. It's too restrained, even for an entry-level Lambo. I hope that gets fixed/made more aggressive as the model years go on.
To be fair, the one in the photos looks a lot different than in the renderings.
Last gen Aventador and Huracan look better than new ones - especially from the front.

@@mattiagrana I don’t remember it that way at all. Mercielago was/is beautiful but Aventador was instant classic and revolutionary step forward.
Gallardo styling was controversial and most people preferred the Audi R8.
New Lamborghini’s look too corvette/mclaren in the worst ways right now. Still striking looking car but unfortunately looks cheap and less special compared to outgoing car.

It seems like Lambo is stancing its models so that the Revuelto looks more like a spaceship while the Temerario has more of the traditional "tame" Lambo-look. I balked at the idea of a V8 Lambo but with a twin turbo hybrid creeping up on 1000 horses it's hard to argue.

Totally agree with keeping the ICE alive. Like back in the 70s when the quartz watch was supposed to be the end of mechanical movements. My Casio G-Shock is more precise than my Zenith El Primero but which one do you think I will wear to a nice dinner/event?
with the revuelto, even though not as good looking as the aventador, i actually respected what it was trying to do, design-wise.
with this huracan replacement, I'm not so sure, it definitely looks less Lamborghini from the front, and worse than the huracan by far, and that's coming from someone who isn't the biggest fan of the huracan in the first place.
edit: I'm specifically talking about the front, if the renders are what it's actually going to look like.
Who knows, I am a big time 458 fan and had a similar reaction when the Roma came out but it grew on me, most of these newer cars, atleast from Lamborghini, ferrai (maybe not all), aston martin etc are trying to evolve their design by introducing something new but that requires drastic design change and we humans hate change so I guess 5 years from now this will be treated the same as the huracan. The engine is bonkers btw definitely gonna sound better than the 296.

It would be almost impossible. There is a electrim motor integrated in the gearbox and front wheels are driven by two electric motors alone. It would need a new gearbox and will end up being RWD alone.

It looks likes a nice tame elegant design this time around, which i like the look of. It looks like a traditional supercar of 90's and 2000's, not trying to look like a space ship or a fighter jet and with this design it will make it more customizable. I wonder what kind of body kit this car will get. I think it would look really nice with a GT Race Car style body kit.
Lamborghini has lost it with these next-gen Lambos first it was the Revuelto and now this, these cars look like they were created by an AI and not a human designer.
@@ISeeQuality-ox8ku the revuelto looks amazing in person, if you have reddit many owners have claimed so, also Lamborghini and aston martin are probably the only remaining supersports car brands that have retained their DNA in terms of design language and engines.

So as we all know now, the rumors coming out of Italy is that it will have somewhere around 944hp on normal pump gas, way over 1000 if you run it on race gas and get the ECU re flashed to take account for it..and will be faster and handle better and brake better and be easier to drive and to park than a Revuelto...and cost $300,000 less than a Revuelto...lol...will also be easily tuneable from the aftermarket cuz its a twin turbo...very cool...
Interesting, I was thinking about the Huracán replacement just earlier today! I'm a big fan of the Revuelto's design, but at least in these speculative renders from the camouflage shots the design feels off. There has to be more to that front end at the very least, it doesn't seem to flow very well with the rest of the car. The speculative renders for the Revuelto were also a bit off so I guess I'll wait for the reveal 😄
How does it not flow? It's designed the same way as the Huracan and Aventador. The line at the tip of the hood curves around and connects with the shoulder line just like in every modern Lambo. Also the fins in the front perfectly mirror the lines on the hood above. I'm honestly not sure we're looking at the same car if you think it doesn't flow.

No idea why but the side reminds me of the McLaren GT.
But yeah, other commenters have a point when they say it looks like a GTA5 car. The rear end with the way it lifts up at the wheels and exposes them is very aggressive, but the side is sleek and simple and the front can e summed up in 3 letters: DRL. They're like the radar cruise module on the Roma, a huge wart on an otherwise pretty face.

btw its gonna need a hybrid addition anyway why not keep the v10 but downtne it and tryna make it acheive all these crappy goals of emission and noise regulations.

It’s interesting to observe how cars we love evolve throughout their life span. For me the greatest esthetic - call it balance - improvement on the Huracan was the modified profile treatment (behind the windows) on the Tecnica. It made the car look slimmer and more elegant without cancelling its agressive stance. The STO, which has a specific purpose, is too fussy in my opinion, a bit like the 992 GT3 RS.
My fear when I saw the first renderings and the spy shots of what is admittedly the forthcoming Temerario, is that it looks a bit dull and ordinary, without much character - of which the Huracan never lacked. But then the Revuelto in camouflage outfit didn’t let one see what it really would look like when revealed to the world. So I’ll keep up my hopes, but at this stage, even if what Bembli explains is very interesting indeed, I don’t quite share his conviction. I just hope reality will prove me wrong ! 😎

They made it even smaller?! I’m 6’3. I can barely fit in a huracan and that’s an overstatement. The adventador was where Lamborghini struck gold.
I think the new design is generic. The old design is way better in my opinion.
I think they said it's around 789hp total and not gonna be 900; at least what I was reading. Also, I have to say I find the design very unattractive. I think the huracan looks a lot better and this is just very uninspiring. The talks of 10000 RPM flat plane crank V8 could very much make up for that. However with the V12 sounding a lot more subdued I don't know if this huracan will speak to me as it likely will be about 400k+ with options for a coupe.

Hey wait. You should consider that this is a fake front bumper. I analysed some pictures of the development mule and saw something really off on the headlights. They are definitely hiding the final design behind a thick fake front bumper.
Also it's impossible that a lamborghini will have boring headlights. They will and always will be prominently appear vertically.
The scoops remind me of a Diablo. The front fascia reminds me of a 4th generation Chevrolet Camaro 😕
I like most of the styling- The headlights are a little too soft and squinty, and the lower fog lights are not a good shape and size- The rear looks great- Maybe the actual design will address those bits at least a little-
I think the real takeaway is that no one cares anymore. Back in the day lambos and ferraris used to be truly special. Rarely would you see one on the road. Now they are a dime a dozen. The only thing special now is the hypercars ie Pagani, Egg, Bug etc…. Lambo will produce 30k of these and no one cares about the specs or the performance because there is nothing special or unique about them

How?? It's the Spanish name of a fighting bull, like almost every other Lamborghini. Most sources say they could not find one named this, but one mentioned a bull from Begoña named Temerario. After brief digging, I found that this bull was pardoned in 2023 and is alive today.
Anyway the name is a little bit long, I guess? 5 syllables isn't that bad.

Does the front view look more like a Ferrari than a Lambo or is it just me? As for the rest of the rendering, I just can't get into the design try as I might. Looks very busy for an introductory model that isn't a special or limited edition. Way too many lines that make it appear like it's trying too hard. I do not like the intake shapes, particularly at all. Hopefully, this is just a rendering, and that prototype on the road was less representative of the true vehicle than merely its camouflage would suggest.
The C pillar area is disappointing. Needs Murci batwings!

@@ant208, it is pretty much impossible the Lamborghini to be slower than the 296. Only the ICE engine alone has almost the same horsepower than the complete 296’s hybrid system. With the other 3 electric engines it will be probably over 100hp more than the 296.
Definitely buying a Huracan and a Gallardo before ever thinking about this one.

The side vents remind me of Gallardo. I know I'm speaking to the choir, but Lamborghini coming out with a car, any car, with a manual transmission would blow up the car world.

I still think Lamborghini made a mistake with the Huracan. The Gallardo had a very distinct design that gave it its own identity. The Huracan mimicked the larger V12 models with its emphasis on being flat and low. I don't think that looks well on a car that is a bit smaller. So I would rather have seen something more similar to the Gallardo proportions and styling.
