  • Every second, another ten tons of plastic is produced. 10% of all plastic produced ends up in the oceans, leading to predictions that, by 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the sea.
With Coca Cola selling 4000 plastic bottles a second, their promise to recycle is a glimmer of hope, but are these promises as true as they say?

They could easily fix the problem but they won’t because it will cost them money. Greedy corporations stay rich for a reason.

I can understand the problem that plastic bottles can make on the environment but this video puts the sole blame on Coca Cola. There are hundreds of companies that use plastic in there packages and nothing is said about the reason they decided to go to plastic instead of paper or glass. Milk, juice, packaged meats, cookies etc. Picking on one company won’t solve the problem. Maybe they are trying to conceal things but all companies twist the truth to gain profit and look good to the consumer. Not that it’s right but all big companies do it.

Really? Coca-Cola has no responsibility for its actions? You are justifying this because other corporations do the same corrupt kind of business? I am guessing you didn't watch the video and you don't even want to know. You are probably here as a paid bot to try to get people to question the obvious reality. I am so sick of this kind of confusion. It is the same old trick over and over.

@@theartofbellydance I am not saying that Coca Cola is justified in what they dim I am just saying that Coca Cola is not the only one using plastic in their packaging. The documentary seem to make Coca Cola the only problem. Plastic packaging is used by many companies but that is never mentioned. This is definitely a video against Coke and not the real problem.

@@jaystone6961 Yes Coca-Cola is a BIG part of the REAL problem. What is your point? It sounds like you are trying to rationalize corporate corruption. The documentary is simply exposing corruption within the Coca-Cola corporation. And Coca-Cola is absolutely to blame for the lack of accountability. Just accept the facts. If you are not justifying the actions of Coca-Cola then WALK THE TALK and hold them accountable. Maybe make a documentary exposing the corruption of plastic manufacturing in the US. There is plenty of horrific corruption that needs to be brought to light.

I know that people will always blame the big companionship that employee people from all over the world and are enjoyed by many. I think that those that put the total blame on Coca Cola are very narrow in their thinking. I am saying that many companies use plastic in their process to market. Let’s not blame one company on the problem. I am sure of you look at all the products that you purchase you will see that it is made with something that is disposed of that is made with plastic or something that is not recyclable.

@@jaystone6961 Yes let us hold EACH corporation accountable for their actions. That is the responsible thing to do. And these corporations are creating poverty all over the globe. We can do better than this. And I personally take responsibility for myself on this planet. I do not buy food or drink in plastic because I am aware of how destructive it is. Hold Coca-Cola accountable and stop making excuses for these corrupt trillionaires.

So glad we get paid 10c for each bottle we recycle. I would recycle anyway if it doesn't. Plastic is terrible, still use it but try to do the right thing as well

Why target Coca Cola??? It is misleading . What company does not use plastic, in one form or another. Please, do not use clickbait.

What an odd response. It's pretty obvious that you are connected to the corporation and looking to justify the lack of accountability. Did you even watch it?
