Clarification for my bonus gold farming tip. The mutton turn in quest is only accessible in part 1.
Thanks for the heads up with the mission to gets mounts early on. I play on playing this down the line, and even though I’m a pretty seasoned Rpg player, I never realized how vital mounting creatures and horses would be til I played DQ11. Man is it vital! Heavy two handed weapons are my jam! So this is also great advice! Loving the fact that there is so much farming and side quest, as you know I’ve mentioned before that’s my thing! Let’s grind for days! Excellent tips my friends! I’ll keep these in mind for when I start my Playthrough! Stay awesome HBTG! #HBTG1K
Good luck in the giveaway man! Also thanks for all the support. You rock!
@@HallowedBeThyGame Anytime man! It’s easy to support such an awesome content creator who knows his stuff! Thanks for always educating me on one way or another with every single video! 🙏 Congrats again on 1K! Well deserved !
@@SEGAblocks thanks so much dude and goodluck in the giveaway!
Here are some more Tips: Depending on your level you can basically one shot medium and heavy armored enemies, by knocking them down with dark lance or dark execution, and finish them with by pressing the examination Button (B on XBOX).
Using a great sword will instantly do all the damage, while usingf f.e. a spear it does the same damage in 2 phases.
You can basically kill 3 heavy enemys within 3 seconds, if you time it correctly, by canceling the finisher animation with a dodge after doing the damage.
Another Tipp for resource Farming: If you try to get eagle eggs, DON'T COLLECT THEM IN THE AERIE.
I had to wait 2 hours until 1 spawned. Instead go to the diary world 3 Level 3(? The undergrkund lab). The enemies in the dairy have increwaes drop chance dor rare loot and drop eagle eggs occasionally. I got something like 3 within 30 minutes until i noticed that they spawn there.
I just walked into aerial and it was in front of the mailbox..
Fun fact, there's actually an exchange from Nier and Weiss about wanting quests to be able to be done in the vicinity of the questgiver that gave me a pretty big laugh! Definitly wish I'd known about the farming mechanic earlier, especially since I went for the platinum, and it would have saved a LOT of time. Fantastic video as always, I look forward to the thoughts on the game as a whole! #HBTG1K
Kudos to you for surmounting this plat. I cannot imagine how tough that was. Goodluck in the giveaway!
@@HallowedBeThyGame it was an undertaking for sure. Thanks for the luck and the giveaway!
Agree. If you want to platinum the game, learn to garden early. Agree, learn to fish. The black bass that you can catch in your village are worth 1,500 each.
Very knowledgeable vid! I speedrun the game and glitchhunt it and I still was able to find some valuable information here, nice work!
Woh! Thanks and I bow to your expertise. That’s awesome 🤩
These videos are really well made! Not played this game but enjoyed watching with loads of amazing advice, nice one 👍
That’s so kind of you, thanks!
Based on what I know about the game from the original Nier, those sound like some good tips! :) Really need to get around to playing it, but there's just too much fun stuff to play lol
If you're aiming for the plat, another reason to get the flowers early is for a trophy to get the legendary flower. It's a pain in the butt to get in the original (have to do a ton of planning, planting, and waiting in real time) but it sounds like it's more of a hassle in the remake. In the original, you can make it much less yucky by manipulating the system clock (still takes a while though), but it sounds like you can't do that as easily in the remake.
Anyway, hope you continue to enjoy the game! Especially some of those other endings :>
Oh awesome! Thanks for the tip, I did read you can manipulate the system clock in this one as well. I just finished up the ending routes so I’m thinking about it I wanna go for the plat or not. You’ll have to let me know if you ever try it tho!
I’ve played a lot of nier automata and beast bane I instantly recognized from that game
I really need to get around to the Nier games. So many games, too little time 🤣🤣
I know, it’s impossible to keep up lol. I highly recommend them if you get the time!
I tried playing the original Nier and while I liked some of it, I found other parts of it to be incredibly frustrating. I am still curious in checking this one out though. I also find it odd that one version has a father figure and one has a Brother figure. I personally think I like the idea of the Father figure better, but I guess it's still kind of similar. Anyway, this video will be helpful for whenever I decide to get the game! #HBTG1K
I can see what you mean. it definitley has some very archaic quest design in a lotta cases. The stories for the quests are extremely good but definitely can be trolly at times haha. Hope this helps if you pick it up again!
the father figure was added because of Square's impression that "Americans only care for masculinity". Replicant is just restoring the version from og Japanese release.
I watched some stuff on why they did that. Nier didn't do well in the west and after automata yoko taro wanted to try and make it more appealing for the west and originally they did a test and it said Americans liked older protagonist but turned out that was wrong they like younger ones. Also since he was a grown man he didn't have any tasks that seemed like he was unable to overcome but being a younger less capable character when he over comes the obstacle it has more meaning for lack of better words.
The auto-sprint tip is such a bs the sprint after dash works either way be it with it turned off or on. It being turned on just helps with the other stuff like you said so there's no downside at all.
I was the winner of RUclipsr of the month Jan 2022 so checking out the channels the gorgeous Segablocks nominated and wow he picked good, very professional the totally opposite to me 😂subbed and good luck 🤘✌️
Wow well thank you so much, I’m so happy you enjoyed the video!
@@HallowedBeThyGame You are going places for sure if its ever the UK hit me up 👊🏻🤘✌️
I still have never played this game. Really cool looking though indeed!
I loved it, hope you enjoy it you give it a go!
Great tips and tricks dude I'll be using this video when I play NieR Replicant. #HBTG1K
Hope it helps and you have an amazing time with the game!
Managed to get the mount from the very beginning as a child Protagonist... lucky
Woah, Nier Replicant looks like a very nice sequel 😁💖 Great advice there, bud. Thanks. You totally rock!!!
Today's Geeky video game question.....
Who is the nicest character in video games?
(I've heard the 'most evil' question waaay too often, so tried a twist)😆
Mine's a 4 way tie between :
RUTILE (Disgaea 3 Absence of Detention)
Its complicated but she's a sickeningly nice character....so much that her OST gives it away). Always polite and just a real sweetie.
PAPYRUS (Undertale)
2 of the 4 sweetest people in the game. Nice fellow, Good Royal Guard candidate...but Best friend. Still trusts you despite your betrayal.
TORIEL (Undertale)
She's like the mom figure in the game. Just wants to keep you from harm. Also, makes a mean Butterscotch cinnamon pie.
DEEMO (Deemo : The Last Recital)
Key words (to not spoil the game as the story has just one sentence in the whole game)....Creepy-looking. Slender man. Dark. harmless. kind. compassionate. talented.......a true hero.
Woh this is a fantastic question! I think the one that immediately comes to mind is Sylvando from DQ11. He felt like a true loving friend and was always there to support and encourage his “darling” friends. And he also organized a parade after some really bad stuff to spread love around the world haha 😂
@@HallowedBeThyGame Woah, dude! Fantastic choice 😁💖👍 Sylvando is such a nice fella and a great friend character. Brilliant answer
@@fireraign77 thanks and you as well! I loved your answers as well and I’m hopeful to experience these characters too someday!
Nice 👍👍👍
Thanks!

geez! i really hate i stopped playing this game once i got to that LAME dream forest place. i was gonna look at a guide to get through it, but i decided to play something else before i did it.......and never got around doing it. 🤷🏾♂
Yeah it’s for sure a Yoko Taro curveball haha. I think you just gotta remember a color and number that’s given and it changes every time.
Got crap a actually good tips video from someone playing the game
I played the first 2 hours of it and I’m like I pray this is not a fetch quest rpg . Don’t like those
I present you the path to rpg mastery:
Every new game you play, spend your first couple hours farming the first respawning mob group you see.
Or when xp gain is practically non-existent, get one more level and calll it a day
it's not. the beginning is slow though for that reason
*old quest desing... ff7r = every quest is fetch quest and kill 10 rats quest XD
