Hi Brandon, why did you delete your plein air videos? And many of your still life and landscape studio videos of you painting...you had many wonderful videos of you painting plein air...
Wow, the years have gone so fast...I've been with your channel from your very first video...
The acrylics in your small studio back home...
I enjoyed all of your videos throughout the years, especially the plein air vids....also the series when you posted of the trees...in oils...
Do you still paint? Joy
@@joypinturra6151 Plein air videos are here now: ruclips.net/channel/UCY08klSSLuUGcPEC_a9d-mA
yes I still paint, but with watercolors. Thanks for following me for so long, I really appreciate it!
@@SchaeferArt PLEASE PLEASE HELP How can I come up with things to draw and. Equally images and ideas more easily and draw new original fantasy scales more easily..I I so damn tired of feeling like I I not an artistic genius or very talented..Hope you can respond when you can. Thanks very much.
@@leif1075 Practice a lot. Figure out what you like and what you're interested in, specifically. Use Pinterest and start creating boards based on all your interests, then save posts to those boards. Then after a while, you can look at each board and analyze it - you will hopefully begin to see patterns about yourself and your interests.
Basically just get started creating and doing. Stop overthinking it. Just draw more, keep experimenting, and give yourself feedback. Improve based on that feedback and continue the loop. I've been posting a drawing everyday for the past 3 months. How much have you drawn? Not saying you need to do as much as me, but if you like to draw and want to do - just start now :) Don't be too hard on yourself or set expectations that are unrealistic.
Sometimes you have to cut things out of your life or cut back on what you do. It’s how you rise from this that makes you strong.
that owl is so beautiful
Great looking owl. Right about 3:00 is when the magic starts 😊
I think when we become uninspired and need a break, it might be partly due to decision fatigue. All through the creation of an artwork, your brain is constantly solving problems and making decisions with composition, values, color choices, brush strokes, etc. especially when you need to fix a problem area you weren't anticipating. Taking a break and doing something unrelated to art seems to be a good solution and gives that part of your brain a chance to recharge.
Thanks for your honesty. I had a rude awakening to something similar last week and I turned within to face the demon that wanted my attention. Turned out to be a guidance to my angry triggers. With that, I followed up with creating an illustrated child's version on what out of control anger looks like. Old childhood memories of neglect came up and will soon be shared with others in book format. Thanks for the time.
Sorry to hear what you were going through. Rest and pamper yourself and eat healthy meals - no fast food. Take care of you.
I get wound up because too much bad energy is coming at me. As an artist I am so in Truth that any form of a lie coming at me kicks my butt. Sensitivity to the planet I'd say. Much love sent your way.
Thanks Brandon.
You make a very good point. I think I am going to start TODAY and draw something. Most days I try to draw the 4 basic shapes, circle, cylinder, cone, box. For 15 minutes a day. If I did the two. Exercises, basic shapes, and draw something. The power of habit. Thanks
Super
The best artwork ❤️ thumbs up 👍
It's taken me years, omg
...Think Ill start a fire.
For real though, I've been having this problem. Especially since I have this painting idea going where its all just trippy shit like aliens in a ufo passing a joint. Stuff like that. But I need an idea to go off of. I cant think up something and draw it.
👌👍
If i watch all your tutorials and draw, will i be able to draw like devon rodrigues ?
first!
