Thankyou fro this, brendon ❤
As someone learning to draw, the chill vibe you give off while you draw is very refreshing. The problem with perfection for me is knowing the line of good representation while learning through reference and not getting discouraged when I mess up lines. Another thing is how differently the pencil feels and works compared to a drawing tablet. I'm digitally drawing in photoshop with a Huion, and watching you gently adding to the drawing is something I want. Going to try to get settings dialed in to allow me to sketch with light touches like yours.
Glad it was helpful. Keep drawing and learning :)
Definitely inspiring! Thank you!
So glad!
Beautiful.
Thank you!
very nice ❤😍
Thanks 😊
as a chemistry major who just enjoys art and blocks themselves from enjoying it as much as they could due to perfectionism. thank you , this is inspiring on so many levels
Glad to hear that :)
I needed this. Thanks
No problem 😊
Hello there! I love to sketch and multedia paint, however, there comes a time when you have a few drawings and paintings that just didnt work. How do you shake that feeling of failure and find your way back. I mean watching you draw and reach for an eraser every now and again is so much more encouraging than watching perfect videos all the time. Theres not a lot of learning in that. Sorry so long..
This is a wonderful question and something I think most of us struggle with. I think it's just a mindset shift. Knowing that it's part of the process. Mistakes will be made. Crappy drawings or paintings will probably always happen. Still happens to me after all these years. But it's not about the outcome itself, it's what we can learn from it :) Use those lessons and keep moving forward. I try to keep creating no matter what and just always have that intention. Enjoy the process more.
Thank you. I might just pull out those pencils and paints out this weekend and just give it a go once more.. Thanks for your videos. Learning a lot!
