Africa Twin 2024. This method still works. There is a caveat; it can stop working at times when starting the bike. The solution for me, switching to a different cable. I have a 21 Africa Twin, I've struggled getting Apply Car play to work. However, Alberto your work around opened the Apple Car Play, then opened google maps, abra cadabra Shazam, I see the map on the honda screen now. I don't need the audio in the headset, difficult to hear anyway. Hooray.....Not sure if I'll have any connection issues, but at least we're going in the right direction now. Edit: I also discovered the problem pairing Sena to the Honda screen, I wasn't following the directions, push for 10 seconds to reach proper pairing mode. I thought pairing was the same for all functions, I was wrong. I am a subrcriber now, you are the man !
I have connected the phone via intercom motorcycle and cable in a compatible way, but when I listen to Spotify, there is no sound even if I answer the incoming call. How can I solve this
When I had iphone 11, was using apple carplay with its own charging cable with this way which was perfect thanks to you. However, I upgraded my phone to 15promax and It didn’t work without headset. (There is no original apple cable for 15 which is type c to type a.) now idk how to use with this way
The work around worked for my iP14PROMAX, but I used older iPhone cord with old style USB from previous iPhones. Unfortunate the iph15 has new connector, try different cords like Alberto wrote. I couldn't get my Sean in the Helnet to connect to the Honda Africa Twin screen, thankfully this work around works for me, but not looking forward to a newer iPhone in a couple of years.
@@MC-yb5le but one problem cuz of the cable shape, usb-a side is like thicker than original so thats why plastic cover of at doesn’t fit completely when I want to close it

Doesnt work for me neither. I have a NT1100. The cable is a high speed usb 3.1. It worked fine with Android Auto, but when i switched to iphone doesnt work. Nothing happens when i hold the back button

Works fine on my 2024. Using iPhone 13 and a cable from Halfords. Very useful for when my intercom runs out of battery!
