I’ve noticed she often goes into “lecture” or “teacher” mode which isn’t necessarily how she might speak in an ordinary conversation, or non-interview types of situations, but it’s not a good look or sound given what we’ve learned about her these past few years. Truth be told, her manner of speech during interviews has got me noticing my own “teacher tone” or mode, and wanting to tone it down a few notches so as to not seem arrogantly superior and perceiving all others as less cerebrally endowed fellow human beans. Buuut… I don’t stutter or struggle to find words when I’m speaking on a topic I’m familiar with the way she often does. It’s almost as if she’s trying too hard to impress anyone and everyone who crosses her path. None of her interviews have aged well.
I like your comment, you seem to be are genuinely interested in the people themselves....As a lecturer, I also have a problem with toning down a certain unconscious "know-it-all" attitude. But I think, as you say, there is a difference between truly knowing what one is talking about, and wanting to GIVE - versus pretending to know and GAIN points (never ages well). What are your thoughts on why she adapted this lecturing attitude in the first place? Anybody halfway intellectual can see through the charade - not a well-working persona imho...
I think she copied that stutter / struggle finding the right word, from Johnny Depp. It seems to be another affectation because she does it when it's not necessary and she clearly knows what the next word should be (for example here when she was saying the characters' names)
I rarely see two coostars so disconnected like Matthy and Amber. He never seeks eye contact with her, not even listening what she is saying, never looks at her, is physically pulled away from her, even though you can see, she would like to engage him in her conversation.

So her responses become lost in translation and hard to believe. She's being doing this for soo long now that it's like who is the real amber? +Valeria Ledesma I noticed some Hollywood actors try to sound erudite, but they don't seem to know what they're saying. And usually their performances are lacking. Maybe she was just nervous about being judged, because her performance in the movie was fine.

I started my obsessions with Matthias in A Little Chaos which is I watch coz Kate Winslet was in the film and in love with her co actor, this great Matthias Schoenaerst ever since. and tracking all his movies and interviews. he seems wonderful person and funny and the same time! pardon my bad English...

Her part was cut to less than two minutes of the whole film. She overacts and tries to upstage everyone else. It’s sad but any pretty face could have sufficed. No character came through from her because she couldn’t contain those teeth from flashing the whole time…
