The moment you went down to 10hp, and just shrugged it off was the most epic part of this fight. I'd have been running off screaming, desperately trying to neck a health mead. You just got back up into her face.

Very Impressive as always! This must be the fastest non-cheese Queen solo that I've seen so far. It is also worth noting that your sword skill is only about 40, you were wearing light armor, and no Bonemass buff when you could've used max gear, max skills, OP Forsaken Power, and face-tank hits to eliminate the Queen and her minions faster. This video shows how powerful Dodge Power Counters are when used correctly. Commendable!

@@derianalscester3924 Los puntos de habilidad, en general hacen que se requiere cada vez menos Stamina (barra amarilla) para usar dicha habilidad, y en algunos casos incrementa el daño de la habilidad.

the double power attack with a knife without the dodge is by far the easiest to do and i am using it frequently.

There are few videos about weapon combos, most if not all of them have "hold block - left click - left click again right after your character start block animation - left click", i havent used power attack combos a lot but i'm pretty sure you just use middle mouse instead of left second time. Im curious tho how that dodge parry works @@MA-on9xl

Got pretty good with the roll counter with sword Makes dispatching single enemies extremely quick, coupled with swapping to hammer instead of stowing weapons that I just recently learned, exploring/traversing through biomes/dungeons just feels so much quicker. I've rarely used swords but this little trick got me maining it lol
happy to hear that! i also rarely used swords, but bc of this trick, i always bring a one with me now along with my trusty knives. it makes fighting two star mobs so much easier. 😄

lol, a lot faster and more graceful than my solo melee only fight with the queen
that's to be expected, as this is not a normal run because exploits were used. i would only use these "advanced combat" techniques just for the fun of it, as the combat in valheim is rather simple and can get old quickly.

Simple? give me an example of combat that isn't? Not exulting valheim, but there really isn't anything else to add.. combos ? really? it's a bit overhyped and already existing.
@@datuputi777 it's just my personal opinion, but i think that's one of the charms of the game because the combat is easy to pick up, making it player-friendly.
however, the game is still in early access, so it's possible that they might add new combat mechanics.
@Lolly Most successful games have easy to pick up combat systems. You already said the reason for it, but even dedicated fighting games aren't that deep many don't even have parry riposte systems.
@@nolollygagging11 I could actually see the devs taking tips from this video to introduce new mechanics in fights, kind of like what did when a tick gets on your back... before that, there was nearly no "must dodge" situation.
ok i knew nothing about the dodge counter thing, this changes hardcore mode so much.
it no longer works. it is unfortunately patched.
its interesting to see since all the guides say you should use range weapons.
Im also surprised that you dont even take so much damage even though you have the fenris armor i think

At 4:25 when the queen does that body smash, do you block or roll? it looks like a block but there's no block damage and i cant see a roll either so just trying figure it out for when give it a try.
it's a technique "dodge counter " but it unfortunately patched in the ashlands update

how are you pulling 200+ damage with mistwalker and lvl 44 in swords and not critting? somethings not right
Very cool stuff! I decided to try something similar after watching this and I died a ton. Other than not having the dodge roll work consistently, the biggest difference I noticed between our fights was that the Queen summoned WAY more when I fought her, to the point where it was all I could do to keep pace with killing the seekers/brood for a while. I had thought that staying closer to her might have limited her summoning, but now that I've experienced that as not the case, I was wondering if this is RNG or if there's something you're doing to prevent her from summoning so much here?
It's crazy you didn't use bonemass power. This power makes this boss fight a lot easier. Even with fenris armor you won't get a ton of damage
I can see bosses dying in a minute flat with a full squad spamming this. Skill ceiling keeps getting higher.

6 seekers the whole time? I'm getting 3 at a time and when I kill them she spawns 3 more within ten seconds.

i wonder how the root gear would do vs queen.. that was one big hit you took at some point so i was thinking how the root gear would have done.
some of her attacks deal pierce damage, especially the ground stab, so root would have done better 😄
@@nolollygagging11 yeah okay.. im running the elemental set with the staffs ofc.. and i cant kill her that fast with elemental magic that fast even im skill 100 in it.. and ofc if i take one hit im dead so was thinking to try the root gear just for the fun of it.
root chest piece and bonemass buff will give you very good survivability.

yeah im still impressed and tried your combos from the videos before and dont get the two power attacks to work and in comparison you use it against the strongest boss...

why do you use the newest leggings and not the helmet ? the helmet doesnt provide a movementspeed malus the leegs do is there some cheese i dont know about ?

What's your armor and how do i get it?
Everyone been saying magic is op but I feel like it's the opposite. Melee just seems easier for me compared to magic also. Running round with 150 hp at most when running magic stuff feels so squishy, and the damage feels nearly as par sometimes worse then melee at times
150 hp is fine, just wear max armor gear.
I did everything in the mistlands with that as melee, except for the queen.
Haven't found a good reason to bother with that.
Magic is nice for kiting.
As a melee you just always have to take risk to hit something.
Try a 1* or 2* seeker and youre dead in 1 or 2 blows regardless of your hp.
@Boris bonemass and carapace 104 armor rating allows me to take a single hit from a fucking 2 star seeker bro, health is everything in this game. Regardless I've had multiple permadeath runs doing magic endgame and it can clap but melee still takes it via 4:30 queen kill
@@Boris82not if you use dodge properly. It negates the full dmg. Just roll twards them and you are fine. Zero risk if you know your stuff
Forgive me if this has been asked already but do you get I frames for the whole roll when you do the double power attack?
Yes but only for Mistwalker. Some weapons have very short i-frames when performing the double power attack.
Ghost hack ? or luck ? glitch ? Should have been hit at 1:19, also at 1:28 ... your dodge was way to late how come that didn't connect ? 1:45 should have killed you literally.. you were in the middle of a charge attack, yet once again it didn't touch you...
animation cancelling. it's basically a game exploit.
All exploits/tech shown in this video have been patched out, to save anyone the hour of testing I just did lol.
Good fighting but it looks a lot like easy mode. On normal or harder he would get oneshot with that armor.

nope. the high damage is from the execution of two power attacks while dodging.
@@nolollygagging11 nice! with about 150 bile bombs you can kill her sub 2 minutes. I got a buddy that did it I can send you link if you want

from what i saw, it seems that the DOT from said bombs do stack.

the boss is not broken it's just tedious to fight it solo because of her massive hp 😅
but it's actually the summons that make this fight really difficult for solo players
