Maybe you can have them live on the same lot but different homes like you did with Imogen and Lux when they broke up, therefore you can focus on both of them.
I feel like Sara's always been the center of this LP though, and the story has moved from Sara and Kei to Sara and Miki.

I wish they had a way to divorce in a way where it is not so angry. A lot of people divorce on mutual terms and not out of anger.

Absolutely! I just experienced this where there’s so much genuine love for each other but our wants/desires have changed and we’re no longer compatible that way. I was hoping the in-game sentiments would reflect that type of scenario.

Kei had a sentiment of "thanks for making time for me, I really appreciate it" right before sara asked for a divorce. Getting her to bring him to the festival and have some nice time together first might have confused him and caused him extra pain and hurt when she then ended it 😥

I'd love if they stayed friends - like they knew marriage wouldn't work out between them but they could stay friends. There aren't that many storylines like that, I think you should split some time between them, and have Sara discover who she is without her husband or Miki, I feel like Miki had her go extreme but her real self is somewhere in between what Miki made her and what she was in the beginning.

Kei's name is not pronounced like "Key" It's pronounced more like "Kay" as in the word "okay". The "Ke" makes a "Keh" sound and the "I" makes an "EE" sound so when put together it sounds like "Kay", I hope this helps, it's hard to explain over text. Also, I should add, Miki's name is not pronounced like "Mikey" it's more pronounced like "Meekee" if that makes sense!

@@geml5760 i must add to that that english is not the only language in the world so names can be pronounced differently in different languages and countrys. So she can pronounce it however she wants although there are of course rules for some names but not all and thats one of them

About their living situation:
I don't see Kei as being completely heartless and letting Sara leave with nothing to her name. I think he'd at least let her stay until she can find a job/make enough to move out.
Maybe you could move her into one of the rental lots. I've never seen it done before and would be interested to see how the gameplay works out. That way Sara would need to make enough to stay on her "holiday" while she earns money doing snowboarding videos and eventually saves up enough for her own permanent place.
I second this idea! Moving into a recently-divorced-rental is a thing and since she initiated, I think she should be the one to move

I love the rental idea! I do think they would want to live apart and get some distance. I think sentiments have added a bit mire depth, they probably still need some work and development. But the fact that Kei feels hurt and doesn’t quite understand why it didn’t work out while she is guilty and bitter is sooo realistic for a divorce scenario!

The sentiments are so accurate, they make so much sense. I feel like Sara should move out and live in a minimalistic small bright home. But since she doesn't have enough she could maybe move in with another family for a while or stay with Miki (as friends). Thanks for taking up our feedback in such a positive way, I really love this lp! :))

@@irettareginahanson1331 I love this idea, Sara would tell Miki about the situation and that Sara doesn't wanna get romantically involved with Miki (yet) and bc they are all good friends Miki would ask Sara to move in with her (as friends).
It would be realistic if they keep on living together, since Sara does not have any money. Then as Sara continues to save up some money, she can then move out and they will both start developing themselves. Maybe they go and try to find out what kind of person they are and after they both maybe tried dating other people and developed their character, find each other on the slopes again. Here they then notice how the other person has changed and that they by then both have (developed) a passion for winter sports and decide to go on a hiking trip to the top of the mountain. During this trip, they might fall in love with each other once again and such, that would be so cute!
I really like them, I hope they get back together! (obviously after some self improvement)

I too want them to be together! I think expectations of arranged marriage made things hard for them. If they grow up and Sara learns more about herself and find herself and in the process realizes she loves Kei(?) and then he needs to establish himself in the workplace and maybe date and realize she is his first and only love LOL but whatever Deli decides is fine by me!

So many of these comments make me feel disheartened for Deli. It's like so many want the gameplay to go the way that they want it to and are taking the fun out of the game! At the end of the day it is Deli who is behind the screen playing. Helpful feedback and advice is completely okay, but some people are just being rude when she works hard to give us LPs.
Edit: Never wanted to start a debate, just wanna watch Sims! Lol. Love Deli and her videos. We’re all here for the same reason ❤️
Yeah, you can have opinions about what happens, you can dislike the characters or storylines but if you get offended or demand things you should really stop watching, open your game and create a story you like better.
I was getting so pissed off by the comments in the prerecorded parts. Deli doesn't owe us any particular storyline; she's a person in her house recording her gameplay and putting it on RUclips for us to enjoy for free. Suggestions are fine and fun, but people were being rude as hell because they didn't like the story. Imagine getting that pressed over a Sims LP. Deli's nicer than me; if I had been her, I would have doubled down and made everything 10x worse, lol.

Yeah, I have seen some very passive aggressive comments, and it's so sad. It's her LP and she's heterosexual, instead of complaining everytime she doesn't get something right, be grateful she is trying to be inclusive.

i’d just like to say, deli, make sure you don’t feel pressured or like you should change how you’re playing the lp just because of feedback. i know many people are just commenting their constructive criticism, feedback and opinions but some people seem to be trying to change the lp to their liking. i think it’s alright to listen to what we think but at the same time, make sure you keep the lp the way you enjoy.
Imagine if he became like a big snowboarder after she left him and later down the line she starts wanting him again but he has a family

This would be great.
DELI, you should build them 2 apartment style homes on the same lot. Similar to how you did in your get famous let's play. That way you can still progress both of their stories at the same time but they don't have to live in the same "house". Just lock their front doors to keep the other out so they can have their space.
I think now Kay will realize how much he actually doesn’t want the relationship to end, and he will try to change his life to seem more attractive to Sara. He will change his sedentary lifestyle, quit his job, change his appearance and become more adventurous in the hopes of taking her back.

I found it adorable. This is a fictional Japan and not Poland or Bulgaria, unfortunately.
You could imagine my confusion when Deli started this let’s play and introduced Baba. I was hoping it was a coincidence she used the name Baba 😂😂😂
I got the hurt sentiment immediately and then the festering resentment from my adopted daughter because my sim autonomously told her off for wearing shoes inside 🤣 makes taking care of her hard
My dad got the hurt sentiment from his child daughter, I just left them talking, she doesn't even have any mean type traits
My toddler got hurt because her mom told her to take a bath and she didn’t want to 🥴

I think this calls for a Japanese inspired tiny apartment build for Sara to move into, since she doesn’t have a lot of money😊 could even get roommates to live in the other apartments to add some more depth and make some new friends?

Kei doesn't seem like the outdoorsy type, from his lifestyles & lack of fun on the slopes. Maybe he could get into a hobby like meditation, yoga, woodworking, or painting which could help him destress & disconnect from tech after work.
It's so nice to see everyone's feedback incorporated. I feel like in terms of moving out you should sell the house and split their funds evenly because that is what happens with divorces and homemakers do get alimony since they gave up a career to take care of the house (even though Sara didn't really do that). I feel like Kei could go live in an apartment in San Myshuno (maybe with a roommate) so he could be closer to work and make new friends and have some casual flings instead of a relationship which he did not seem to like. Sara I'm not sure if she could afford any kind of starter home by herself with half of the money but maybe she could also move in with someone until she gets on her feet. Or maybe a tiny home in Mt Komorebi would work for her. And I think what would work well is any of the "half active" careers from later updates where she can work from home. The social media career seems most fitting to me because the work from home tasks are really easy and it fits with the theme of her eventually making snowboarding videos. You can pretend she's running a snowboarding blog. Or she could be an athlete but she would have to go to work and have less time on the mountain. In terms of splitting up time you could do that like with Lux and Imogen in your Get Famous LP if you think Kei has an interesting storyline but I'm not sure if he does and I think it would make sense to focus more on Sara. Either way I love this LP and am excited to see more fun and drama. I'm not a fan of the gameplay of the sims 4 but you always make it fun and interesting and I love what you do.
Deli here's a pronunciation guide for any Japanese name / word :
A sounds like ah (like fAther), i sounds like EE (like sEE), U sounds like oo (like zOO), E sounds like eh (like mEH) and O sounds like ohh (like cOt)
Also! Ei sounds like A (like April), Ao sounds like Ow, Ai sounds like I
So, does that mean Kei would be pronounced keh-eee? or just keh?
@@deltadaze6836 it would be Keh-ee but the eh-ee is squished together so it sounds similar to an A sound. Try saying eh-ee real fast and you'll see what I mean :) the comment from @witchywoman1024 explains

Never had any interest in learning Japanese pronunciation because Japanese is a difficult language so I'd just rather not. lol But this pack is making me feel like I should use Japanese names in my game and even just playing my game by myself I feel like I have to pronounce the names right. I think that Sara wouldn't take him back like that but I think that it could help them bond as friends after the divorce.

But with any ex especially because they still had love you might try and change yourself to be what you think they want you to be. You know what I mean? Like she left him because she wasn't feeling it anymore and she wasn't getting the attention or love she needed but he still had feelings his only problem was that he was stuck in the past when he was single. So it would make sense for him to try and get her back either by begging or by trying to change him self into someone his not idk I thought that would be interesting

i do not think “they both knew it was coming”. i do, however, think he expected they were going to make up and decide on working on their relationship, since it was the first time in ages she invited him out and actually made the time for him.
i am sad for him, but ultimately, it’s delis choice to run the story.
I want a redemption arc. Have him chill out a bit and her calm down after having some adventure.

I think... over time after Sara and Kei have reached their goals with climbing and work, Sara realises how ungrateful she was with Kei and Kei realises that he should've been there more for Sara. And they try and make things work again 💕

Aw im really glad to see more of kei this episode! I think he could be a really sweet guy and find something to make him happy :) I've seen some people saying they wish the divorce hadn't happened and they had tried more, but personally I'm glad they split. I think they both know they're not really suited to each other, they want totally different things. They can be happier with other people

Love the idea someone mentioned about Sara renting a vacation lot and working her way up to owning a home. You could make a really dingy starter home for her to rent cheaply.

Just saying Deli has done an amazing job at recreating real life issues with couples. In life no relationship is perfect and you are always going to have ups and downs and that’s totally normal! 😊 some issues are easily resolved and others end up having to take a different approach.
Relationships are sooo much more in depth then just a simple ‘I like you, you like me’ and every experience you have with your partner will ultimately build your relationship for ideally the better! ☺️
So don’t forget to show how much you care about your loved ones everyone! It might really make there day 😊
Not to get too deep, but it’s wild how much this mirrors my marriage/divorce. Definitely 2 different people who had the best intentions but realized we wanted different things at different points in life, and also had incredibly different outlooks and values that just couldn’t be ignored. With that said Sara is prob one of my favorite characters of yours to date and I can’t wait to see how she grows!

I like the idea of Sara having her own place and living alone for a while. If she tells Miki she wants to be just friends, then it doesn't seem right to say "so let's just be friends, okay? Now on another note, can I live with you?" 😬 They're best friends, so obvi she'd want to say yes, but if she's romantically motivated it'd defeat the purpose of Sara saying she wants to find out who she is without Miki or Kei, ya know?
Maybe Sara got married when she was really young, like fresh out of college. She wouldn't know what it's like to provide for herself or live on her own. I think she should. 😊 Coming from my own experience, it's super difficult to provide for yourself, but it's really satisfying too, knowing you can pay for your own rent and such.

When I saw the abundance of comments on previous videos, i thought it was so much to take in and I wasn't even the one playing 😂but i love how much you consider your audience's voice and put so much effort in your lets plays! I love this pack
I think it’s totally sad because I think Sara really just needed time with Keh. Before they even divorced he said thank you so much for spending time with me it means a lot @12:13. I do think though that Sara needed to do fun adventures, but maybe Keh just needed time to realize that he did love getting married.
too late sims time is like weeks for every day so his sim autonomous actions doesn't replace the fact that he didn't want to get married and that's unfair for Sara to have to waste her life waiting for when he finally gets with it 💅

When Deli was looking for the slops and there was thunder I thought it was my stomach growling at first and I had to rewind the vid to double check .

An idea for Sara could be getting a freelance job in the photography or writing career. She’d still be able to go out and seek thrills but write or capture them and save up for her own place. Another idea could be making videos from get famous because she could talk about her adventures! Love the LP and appreciate you so much Deli!!!
I think Kei should find someone special up in the mountains while skiing. Maybe not a romantic someone special but someone he can be close to and bond with. I also think that Sara should move into the more modern part of Mt Komorebi and work on herself more
The word baba also means grandmother in bulgarian and in a few other slavic languages and it's just a normal word, nothing disrespectful there
That is the thing, though... different cultures. *Shrugs.* The setting here is Japanese-based and even uses Japanese words for items. Therefore, elsewhere no one cares. In Japan, though, it matters.
I mean, if you had a Japanese friend and you met their grandmother, would you continue to call her Baba if you knew that as far as her language goes that is a horrible insult? I'd hope not. I can see explaining yourself though, "Oh, I meant no disrespect! In my country, we also have the term 'Baba' for grandma, but it is an endearment! I was saying it out of kindness. Now that I know it isn't considered kind here, I won't call you that ever again! What should I address you as?"

@@petal8829 IRL, yes. In a Sims 4 LP? Unlikely since it is a simulation and those who are aware of the mistake are more likely to find it humorous.
Nevertheless, Deligracy has put effort into trying to learn some things about Japan to integrate into this LP. In that regard, isn't it best to let her know when she is making a mistake?
@@nyxitylee2094 you could pretend the grandma is half russian and prefers to be called baba, that's what I've been doing for the past episodes.
@@didip1000 I had/have no problem regarding her usage of "Baba". As noted, this is an LP.
I only make note to those who say it is fine in practice because in another country it is a benign word. Again, these things are true. Outside of Japan, Baba is a fine nickname for a grandmother.
Nevertheless, it is good to be mindful of what may or may not be an insult in other cultures.
So, in real life... if for some fascinating reason you end up in Japan or develop a relation with someone who speaks Japanese as their first language... do not address their grandmother "Baba". It isn't okay in that context as you will end up calling her "an old hag" and not a nice form of grandma.

Fireworks during the daytime is actually quite normal! I remember I was surprised by this as well when I first moved to China, but for them fireworks is a way to scare the bad spirits away during any celebration like child births or opening a store or something big like that and that is usually during the day! :D
I love how this let’s play is happening and it good and I love coming back to see the next video (especially an ongoing let’s play)

I kind of assumed the house was B’s so maybe Sara inherited it? And Kei could move out to a bachelor pad more to his liking with all the money he’s been earning meanwhile it’d be interesting to see Sara have to work hard to maintain her mom’s home and really learn to appreciate it 🥺

I honestly am much more interested in Kei, but that's probably because Sara has made me very uncomfortable as a Sapphic woman myself. Maybe now that you get feedback you'll take these groups you wanna represents feelings into thought.
I like you started thinking about of Kei's feelings can be complicated, that he can also feel hurt even if he wasn't ready for marriage. Sometimes people realize too late they wherent cut out for it, and plus with society norms, felt pressured. Plus, you're allowing him to make new friends.
I'm also glad you also think Mikie and her should be friends for now and not automatically go into a relationship. I think maybe adding an entire new sim as a potential love interest could be better to really see if Sara liked Mikie for her or just the break of freedom she gave her. Mikie did be disrespectful to the marriage and kind of intentionally got between the relationship knowing she's a married woman, which isn't cool at all.
Maybe introducing a new girl for Kei would be cool too, or maybe someone who's nonbinary! Someone who isn't entirely for marriage and just wants a relaxed relationship, not all relationships need marriage and still be together for a long time. Maybe this person can bring out a different person in Kei
You should make "apartment" building and have them both live in different "apartments" but in reality you just lock the door for each of them and they won't be able to see each other

Maybe she can become a writer (like working for herself selling her books) about her adventures and do odd jobs until she gets lvl 10 snowboarding for videos. And yeah I don't vibe her and Miki as lovers, but should stay BFFs. Would love to hear how this lines up with what you are thinking!
Hey, Deli, as a bi woman - please please please don't have Sara jump straight into another relationship, especially not with Miki. Honestly, please don't have her end up with Miki either. One of the worst stereotypes about bi and pan women (and bi and pan men) is that they're inevitably going to cheat on their partner with someone with a different gender.
Let Sara figure out who she is on her own, and but maybe wait until she's aged up from young adult before she gets into a new relationship.
Kinda bummed they got divorced, I was hoping to see them try and work things out even if it ultimately they still divorced, it made me sad to see that they didn’t try at all
I am happy for Kei finally getting away from Sara. I want to see him developing his character by exploring new things to deal with the sadness. Also, by doing odd jobs and failing them, Sara can finally understand the pressure of her ex-husband and not only asking for his love every day.
Sara could get a cute one bedroom apartment and get a job in a coffee shop for the morning and then snowboard/ ski in the afternoon. I could imagine her painting her room bright colours to bring lots of warmth in 🙂

I get that she wouldn't really know since she is Australian, but I live pretty close to the equator and still could tell just by the settings when the screen loaded, "Oh... honey, that is a blizzard! No one should be out there, much less skiing!" My parents lived in Alaska once, though, so I know some stuff about extreme cold that most people in this region would have no clue about. *Shrugs.*
Maybe later on in this series after they both are higher in careers they can re-connect with each other. Really loving this let's play! This pack looks so cool, I can't wait to get it 😊
I think a good idea with the household is to live in a townhouse. So they each have their own side like you did in your other lets play. It will be easy to get around and eill 2nd a fun idea. Love you deli. Xxx❤

Your sims don’t need level seven lilsimsie did it with sims with only level 3 and 4 you just had to take her on an expedition i think or whatever it’s called for the event climbing the mountain
i tried in my actual game and i couldnt climb the last wall. I was level 5 climbing. You need to be higher.

This is true, I did it with my sim today and they were on level 5 or six. Also, the sims he went on the expedition with was just someone random who didn't even have a climbing skill and they all made it to the top:)

I wish they tried to work on their relationship more. I feel they didn’t really have a good try.
This is the first LP series I've ever watched and I am invested in these sims and their stories. I think Deli did a good job of storytelling, adding suspense, romance, and heartache. I'm waiting for the next video!

Would be cool if you introduced a new character that is somewhere between Kei and Miki, that would offer a balance of both to Sara. Someone who respects her independent spirit while offering her stability would be a healthy match.

I really enjoy your LPs, and your own take on different plots and ideas. I don’t want to be a backseat driver, but with the time constraints of the early release I think it was quite unified in how your fans felt about certain plot points. Seeing you acknowledge this is really great, and I’m excited to see where you continue to take this.
