Love my 06, probably the best year for them, last model year for the style, next one had issues. Mines up to 360k miles and goes up daily.
Awesome!
I recomend doing the duramax dual battery mod. Just buy the second OEM battery tray and it bolts right in. I have an isolator but its not really necessary if batteries are new/matched.
I love how much care you put into your vehicles. 👍
Thanks!
LOVE these videos man! Keep them coming!
Thanks!
Great video. I enjoyed seeing what you do to get vehicles ready to for sale.
Thanks!
Excellent video!!!
Thank you!
Damn love I found your channel brother..thanks ✌️
Thanks!
Any hope that you guys would be at an expo in Utah. Would love to come visit and say hello.
Nice
Drums like for dancing in the wild
Will we be seeing you at Overland Expo PNW in Oregon in July?
Yes we'll be there👍
What do you do with the second row seats? I need one on this color.
Hey I’ve been watching your videos for a while and am starting me own vehicle, 2003 Yukon xl, so you use the keys for the 2” lift in the front and then in the rear just factory coils and the bilstiens 5100, is there no need to spacers in the rear to keep it level with the front?
It would be interesting to hear feedback from customers on the 4l60e durability. I love my truck but have no faith in the transmission after going through 2..beyond me how chevy can rate these things to tow the amount they do.
Can you help? I have a 2000 Chevy Suburban V8 5.3. When I brake I hear a electric buzzing by the in cabin fuse area. What do you think it is? I think it may be the relay.
what kind of torsion keys are you guys using ?
I put new Leds on low beam and after a day both of them not working. Any idea what’s wrong with it ?
What paint do you use for the wheels?
Which 2 inch lift keys do y’all go with ?
I love these old burbs. Would they be good daily driver?
They are great daily drivers 👍
I really thinking about getting a used suburbanon. What are some of the biggest reasons I should bring my suburban to you guys? What are the main services you guys offer?
We offer a lot of services and we can even source a vehicle for you. Most of our clients go this route and we even have some great options available now. Feel free to send us an email at support@suboverland.com.
Niiice.. 👉
You guys use any leveling kit or just the bilstein 5100 all around? What do you do to the torsion keys? What shocks?
Torsion keys and Bilstein 5100 all around. Moog HD rear coils
Hi Love the Burb,
Question, Is there Any difference between an O3 Denali, and a 04,05,06 Denali?
I found a nice 03 but I'm wondering if I should try to find a newer one 04-06
Thanks
05/06 1500 models come with electric cooling fan which is better for the ac and those fans can stay running even when the truck is off if need be and also 2004.5 models the engines have Gen 4 connecting rods
@Liam Maupin I have an 04 Yukon, I'm not sure if it's a 04.5 or not but it's great and extremely Reliable, knock on wood, currently at a quarter of a million miles and going while pulling a camper around the USA!
What's those wheel specs
What torsion keys did y’all use? Also are the front shocks adjustable?
There are a lot of options for keys, from ford keys to aftermarket options and as far as the shocks go, the 5100s are not adjustable for this model.
No need for keys to run 285/70/17. (33")
Do you have a plug on gt5 axles for a 3/4 ton Yukon xl
I don't. Sorry
Great video with a lot of good information! Just curious if you have to recalibrate the speedometer for the larger tires? It probably would actually run a little faster than the speedometer shows with the larger tires I would imagine.
The stock wheel size for a 2006 LT would be 265/70/16. His are replaced with 285/70/17.
So for a rough reference here are two scenarios because as he travels faster, the mph increases.
If his speedometer reads 35 mph he is actually traveling at 37.4 mph.
When his speedometer reads 70 mph he is actually traveling 74.81.
So he would need to do something to fix the difference or just live with it.
I've got 20" wheels on my 02 yukon xl and i add 10% to whatever my speedo says.. so 50 is 55, 70 is 77, etc. I live with it. Love the look!
@@financemarin yeah I have 22's on my Yukon XL and I just live with it and adjust by about 4 mph.
I may go down to a smaller rim size to add more sidewall because with 22's I would have to lift it of which I don't want to do.
Not a speck of rust under there! It's going to be a beautiful build.
Thanks!
Is there a lift in the rear?
Yes we use Moog HD Coils to achieve a small lift.
Why such a cheap backup cam?
How do you know it’s cheap?
So, you did this whole video, to showcase basic maintenance? WTF?
