The scenario ECC -> S4HANA that requires SAP involvement is not a good approach since most of SAP customers are still running their business on SAP ECC. Does SAP have the capacity/resources to attend every single customer? Short answer in my opinion is = NO. Why there is no solution to keep systems synchronized with changes, considering ECC as the lead system, while we are migration to S4 HANA?
What about for customers who don't have Charms/ SOLMAN in their landscape?
I think you could setup a standalone retrofit (which does not need scenarios for Charm and SOLMAN)
