Are there any examples, references or case studies that I can look at?
It will have massive impacts on testing especially if it’s a S4 conversion rather than new implementation. Things like custom code, add-ons, extensions, performance, user experience, integration, and regression must be thoroughly done to ensure the S4 conversion is a success.

That true. But this is for the beginners and people get confused about mainstream maintenance, extended maintenance, etc. Hence I have kept it simple by saying it’s out of support. To be factual, ECC will be out of mainstream maintenance in 2027. That means SAP will still support it going beyond 2027 only for the known issues. They won’t provide support for new bugs(unless the customer chooses extended maintenance). There won’t be any new functions developed either.

SAP Business one can run on Oracle database. It’s aimed to small and medium size companies, I can’t find if it’s a SaaS
