    Condition for uniformity coefficient must be greater than 6 not 4. Cu >4 is for coarse aggregates or gravel. And for these fine particles Cu must be greater than 15

      +Ankita Sahu
      On x-axis - sieve size
      On y-axis -% finer.
      D10 means particle size corresponding to 10% finer.
      to find D10
      Select the point 10% on y axis and extend that point horizontally with the help of ruler till it cuts the gradation curve.
      Then mark that point and drop that point vertically downward , and then obtained point will be on x axis ,
      that one is our D10 value.
