(I’m making backstories for all the bosses, similar to SonicDestroyer) Esther Winchester started out as a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, excitable calf born to a stay-at-home cow and a sheriff bull well-known across the Inkwell Isles. When she wasn’t playing cowboys with the other children of the desert, she’d be helping her mother grow the Desert Limes or watching her father do his sheriff duties. Her whole childhood, Esther dreamed of following in her father’s hoof-steps and becoming a sheriff. That would all change when one day, her father went out to chase some robbers… and never came home. Several months later, her mother died of a broken heart. Esther had to resort to being an outlaw in order to get by, but eventually she found herself enjoying the outlaw life. The thrill of high-speed chases were the highlight of any day, and no sound was sweeter than the frustrated cries of the sheriff of the day who failed to catch her. Wanting to honor her mother’s memory, she kept watch of the Desert Limes, vowing that no living soul shall ever get their hands on them… well, that was until a certain pair of cups came along.

It may be hard to believe it nowadays but many sunsets ago, Esther Winchester was revered as the greatest sheriff in all of the Western Plains. Her sharpshooting' skills were second-to-none, and any dastardly criminals 'round these parts would think twice before they dared to cross her path. But deep down in her soul, Esther was a thrill-seeker and holding up the law could only do so much to keep it at bay. Soon enough, her energetic attitude began giving way to more and more crime, to the point where it felt like she was taking part in the crime herself. It escalated to the day she made off with a heist of her own, the finest Desert Limes the Plains could muster. And as she did in her days as a clean sheriff, she did it all with a smile

That's what made it soooo hard.
I couldn't control my plane.
This is my favorite boss in the game as a whole, the music is amazong, the animation from the oil snakes to her running on her spurs is some of the best animation the game has to offer, her last phase loses me a little with the weirdness but I will never play thos boss and not have fun
This fight made me feel pain on the inside so did salt baker tho
My first reaction when seeing her third phase:
"Mmm *chefs kiss*... dark humor at its finest"
(My most fave boss tbh)
Great, this boss made me hungry for sausages.
I really love her snake oil guns
I beat this boss because of a glitch. The boss was stuck in it's third phase transition so I just kept firing with no consequences until she died.
Never thought I would have to fight Clarabella as a sheriff one day
I kid you not, she turns herself into a sausage! It was the funniest shit I've ever seen!
I wheezed at the third and fourth phases
looks like some people have beef with this boss
I love how the first phase defies physics, as the oil globs seem to be 'blown back' by the wind or stuff, but they should be going the other waey
Since when did this game ever obey physics?
Ok now she is litterary Wally Warbles first she is in a house just like Wally, second its a plane level LIKE WALLY, third at the end they both turn into food
The running animation in phase 2 makes me so uncomfortable
Fun fact: this is the boss with the most health in the game! With 3300 points, she’s just slightly above Cala Maria, the robot and Wally Warbles
I don't know if i'm the only one who noticed but at 1:20 there is a violin solo that isn't in the soundtrack published. When playing it was nice hearing something original, just wondering if anyone else spotted that.
Bet y’all never seen *sausage* good boss fight before that was all hand-drawn.
I like the small detail that the wanted poster on the bottom half of the first phase gets removed when she goes downwards
This boss is the wurst.
Can't wait to see PETA flip over the 3rd phase.
The only reason I won this fight the first time is because there was a glitch in phase 2 where she didn’t attack and wasn’t transitioned to phase 3, allowing me to kill her without any more trouble. But I did re-fight her until I beat the fight normally before I moved on, I had to make this fair.
The last phase though
Rolf- "I am a wiener!"
Ed: You are Rolf!
she is so shock hold a mirror and she did this 1:10 and still fighting
i love her for being this cowboy that turned into sausage
I like how she's a cowgirl
Literally XD
Ya know who she reminds me of, Clarabelle Cow
Goofy chopped her up and feed her to Damian
That’s what I thought lmao
I think she reminds everyone of Clarabelle Cow. She even sounds like her.
Thts her inspiration
@@choosinkien268 you don't say.
*fights with sausages*
*literally turns herself into sausages*
*doesn’t give you sausages when you beat her*
What kind of person would eat a sausage tart?
Eww...who would give you their remains after beating them!?
This battle is AWESOME 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
this whole boss fight trips me tf out
These last two phases, lmao
This boss fight would be cool if you can kill off Esther Winchester faster in the second phase with bombs because Esther is holding a vacuum and if she absorbs the bombs then her pack should explode
0:33 I had a glitch on this part. When she shoots safes, they don't come down at you, instead, she stays like that but you can still shoot her and even win the game.
And here i thought I was the only one! Tbf, I was recording and short on time; would've loved to beat her regularly but she was whooping serious tail! Then the bug happened and I'm just there like "... is what it is, I'll take it, I guess." XD
Yep that happened to me but 0:43
That happened when I was playing with my dad!!!
Same happened to me, luckily i didn't want to win like that so i died in purpose 🤣
I really wanted to love this boss fight but I was too busy F’N out the screen. It’s a shame as the anthro cow is really adorable and has some really fun animations. Well at least there’s the dog fight to look forward to.
This is awesome lmao
This is the best boss I've ever seen
Hardest to Easiest Airplane Bosses in Cuphead:
1. Esther Winchester
2. Dr Kahl. Robot
3. Cala Maria
4. Djimmi The Great
5. Wally Warbles
6. Hilda Berg
Where do you rank the toy monkey Mr. Chimes?
And phear lap the horse
I'm not counting casino's boss fight because it's one huge fight to fight King Dice
Guys, she has the Wild West equivalent of Heelies
