I’ve had this awning since it was released, I will fully say that if you have the money for it it is 100% worth it, I have the large one and it’s super light weight, originally I had the wing awning, is designed beautifully and it holds up very well in weather, now I don’t think it holds up as good as the wing in high winds but the lite wing is designed to have a fail safe if it does get caught in wind, the carbon fiber support poles will let go of the awning so it doesn’t rip off whatever it is mounted too, you can store the poles and tool bag it comes with in the housing, the housing also looks very slick, I have mine mounted too a CVT mt hood and it’s performed perfectly for every trip I’ve been on.

@isaacsmith5329 I have excalty that happened at beach last weekend when OVS awning took off with all ikapmer and roof rack as come out from T rail. The rail was staying in a spot but bent a mounting spot.
It has a fail safe, the carbon fiber poles that the awning is attached too will let go of the housing and shoot up, it’s weird to describe but I made the mistake of opening it in very high winds and the fail safe saved the awning from being ripped off my tent, I have it mounted directly too my CVT mt hood double channel.
It would have been nice to see how the LED lights work.
