It was so shocking how different my style and techniques have evolved. I actually thought it was not as drastic, but I was wrong. Even the way I photographed them haha! I might have to update all my dolls now and give them more love!
Materials right below:
Acetone or nail polish remover
Sealants : Mr. Super Clear (MSC) or Krylon's Matte Finish
Watercolor pencils: Faber Castle
Chalk Pastels
Brushes
White paint
Gloss varnish

The way you color and shade eyes now is so smooth and blended. You can really see your style now. Those glorious chic pin-up style eyes are lovely and your progress is inspiring to us all! I look back on some art I've done and it surprises me that I managed to either achieve that look, or how I have improved from it. Always depends on the subject matter.
Your repaint is wonderful, the lines so crisp and clear, the blush and highlights perfect. The gloss and lashes add so much life.

She looks great! It's so fun to see an artist's improvement over time. For me, since I'm still pretty young, I can see very clear improvement in my drawings from the beginning of a school year to the end, or even to the end of a semester.

It's so crazy seeing the differences and how much your work has evolved and changed. I adore this look cause it does make her look "worried" but at one angle especially at 11:09 she looks confident or the look of "Oh? Don't like that? Then what are YOU going to do about it?" Honestly, that angle is the best for telling haters to get lost LOL.
You've developed as an artist so much. Great to be able to see your progress with before and after repaints. Beautiful work.
I don't like Ever After dolls because of their head shape, but with your style, they become gorgeous dolls. Keep being your fabulous self. :)

I think the original was super good (maybe not the eyes as much) especially since that was before all the experience you have now. the eyebrows on the original where also really good too!

I have commented on a lot of your videos, I've been watching for about a month and found you Bc I was searching for good videos Bc I am going to start to do doll repainting and finally got the rest of my stuff in, which was MSC last week. I'm so glad I found this video Bc it's literally a perfect step by step tutorial on how to do a doll especially since it's your own repaint of one of your first dolls. Of course the material video helped me so much on the best stuff to get too. This video will help me so much along with all your others. I can't wait to see what my own unique style will be but your tips will help me so much plus I love your videos! I have watched so many different people along with everyone you collaborated with for the Halloween dolls and as wonderful as they all are I have to say you are my very favorite! I know these are time consuming but can't wait to see your newest video, but again since I have only been watching for a month it gives me a chance to watch your other ones!

I think the fist time it was pretty good it was just the fuzzy things on her eyes. It looked very pretty but just a little messy. Besides for that, I would still want it lol tbh

I would do it myself, but I don't really have time atm.... Spectra Vondergeist is a perfect doll base for Detox' black and white look she did for the season 5 finale! She's got a similar face structure and is almost entirely white to begin with... this really needs to happen
