Love to see an update on this truck. I just picked up a 97 7.3 with a flatbad almost exactly like this. Just found a fbmp $20 chrome grill and bezel. Looking at finding some alcoas or even going with this wheel setup. Love this trucks route!
Same. It is very different up front now! I have a video edited and I’m waiting on my buddy to be available to shoot some video. Maybe I’ll just do the video myself. I am literally in winter coats for parts of the video that were shot 6 months ago.
Definitely a lift. I’ll have to go back and look at previous videos (or this one) but it ended up being higher than expected with the stated components.
@heyitsmedouglasheyitsmedou1312 I got a 94 F350 12 valve swapped I'm trying to put 2020 17s on it. I ordered some lug adapters hopefully they will work. Love your truck though. I was gonna order those ion bulletholes this morning but the guy at the tire shop had a set of brand new pull offs he wanted 800 bucks for em. Figured I could make it work lol
Sounds like a sweet truck. I don’t recall how much I paid for the wheels but I think they were $1,100-$1,200 for 4 of them (I have used Dodge dually inner wheels on the rear).
Hey Douglas I love what your doing! I have a very similar set up and idea of what I want for my truck. Would you mind providing the model in wheel those are!? TIA
Stay tuned. I have some sweet parts that I’m putting on it as we speak. Should have another video up in about a week. Been waiting on some parts to come in.
None. Doesn’t come close to the fenders bc of the lift height. The driver side lower 4 link bar will rub sometimes at full lock if the axle is not level but it is very minor. Tire and wheel combo is awesome!
Hey man I’ve actually got the exact same setup as you. Single cab 97 red f350. I tried putting dodge inners on mine and had the nice ones on the outside. Is it a big no no to have the dodge inners? I’d really like to have a talk on the phone with you about this @heyitsmedouglas
The dodge inners just need to be SLIGHTLY ground down so they fit over the bigger Ford hub. That’s it. Bolt pattern is the same. Grind them and bolt them on.
Tires are 35x12.5x17. Rear spacer is a 2” from Amazon…lug centric and not hubcentric. You can haul heavy on them for years and not have an issue. Don’t let people tell you that you have to use hubcentric spacers. They vote for Biden.
I’ve had it completed for probably 6 months. I have a video ready to upload. Been waiting on my buddy who is an amateur videographer to do a cinematic video of it driving and what not.

@@heyitsmedouglasheyitsmedou1312 Good deal, i'll be waiting on that video then!
@@zanepyles9092 I got a set from Ron's rims and I really like them
Dude what’s the tire sizes and spacer size
35x12.5x17. 2” spacer.
Do you have a lift on it or just a leveling kit?
Definitely a lift. I’ll have to go back and look at previous videos (or this one) but it ended up being higher than expected with the stated components.
One clean ass truck man! You have to get lug pattern adapters?
No adapters. Ordered them for direct bolt on for 8 lug. It is not an F Superduty with 10 lugs. Just a little cab and chassis baby lol.

Hey Doug , so absolutely no rub on the rear tires
No spacers used ?
Was not able to finish the complete video
Zero rub. 2” spacer in the rear.
Hey Douglas I love what your doing! I have a very similar set up and idea of what I want for my truck. Would you mind providing the model in wheel those are!? TIA
They are Ion Alloy 167P. 17x6.5. +125mm offset and -142mm offset. 35x12.5x17 tires.
@@heyitsmedouglasheyitsmedou1312 If this is a dumb question, tell me but which wheels are +offset, and which are - offset? Front are + or -? Thank you
Positive offset is for the front. Negative for the rear.
Looks like a set of new Alcoa's 👍💯👌
Flatbed is badass

That truck would look good with a visor. I dig your channel dude.
With lights? Hadn’t thought about it yet. Might be interested.
What size are the four rear dually tires? Thanks in advance
35x12.5x17. I have a 2” spacer in between them.
@@heyitsmedouglasheyitsmedou1312
Hey Douglas have you ran into any fitment issues with your 17x6.5 rim and using a 35x12.5 tire?
None. Doesn’t come close to the fenders bc of the lift height. The driver side lower 4 link bar will rub sometimes at full lock if the axle is not level but it is very minor. Tire and wheel combo is awesome!
Those wheels look great on it.

Hey buddy, I wanted to ask, what size wheel spacer did you use for the rear?

@@heyitsmedouglasheyitsmedou1312, 😂 Doug you rule!!! Thank you for the quick response and are you doing the coil over lift soon

Is just back 8x200
8x6.5. Probably the most widely used lug pattern ever.
Just back wheels 8 by 200
I don’t know if u said but what size are the tires
35x12.5 17
