@ganzaroliellen you must not know what you are doing. Keep watching the instructional videos. What you hear here is what you get and more. The race is not to the swift...but to the one who sees things all the way through.✌🏾
Absolutely brilliant work guys, I've been searching for a great well rounded guitar emulation/library for a few years now and I think I finally found what I'm looking for in this!
Kept trying to weigh between stratosphere, rock standard, and strawberry. I ended up buying the strat from music labs and got the tele and the Gibson 335 from Orangetree samples...the best of both worlds for me. Also, using Blue Cat’s reguitar allows me to get close to any other guitar’s sound from any set of direct line in samples. Modern tech is awesome! Edit: yet and still I bought several more of orange tree guitars out of appreciation and to guarantee having the great tones of their presets. With Gtr rig 6 I’m able to create unique tones though. It’s all just wonderful guitar utopia!
@ganzaroliellen it’s definitely not fake, but verified for its authenticity by thousands of users through many years. Patiently follow through with troubleshooting your issues. It’s frustrating to get a plug-in and run into trouble. It’s one of the burdens of modern tech, but the fault may lie any of the other points of contact…which may even be you when you don’t know what you’re doing. You’ll get it though. Contact them and they will help you iron out your issues.
+YoungBlaze Of Chitown All of the demos in this are played live from a MIDI keyboard, recorded directly (so no editing done afterward). There aren't any audio loops in this library, apart from the built-in strumming pattern system which is MIDI-based.
+YoungBlaze Of Chitown There are some on this channel (any Evolution guitar video tutorial will apply, since it's the same interface), but they're starting to get outdated. We're in the process of recording all-new tutorials, including examples of practical application, etc. They're a little longer than the current videos, but it's all useful information.
@@YoungBlaze in terms of versatility, not much difference. In terms on sound, they have a different timbre and quality to the tone. They can both do multiple genres though, but their difference is mostly in the direct input, naturally.
@ganzaroliellen 🤦🏾♂️😄It’s not, Bro. Greg is dedicated, talented, and resourceful enough to offer this quality. Just don’t sell yourself so short. Take the time to learn what is happening wrong in your situation. There is a fix.✌🏾
Michael Mancuso Yes it is, but at the time I wrote that Stratosphere and Strawberry were only available for the full version of Kontakt. Now it can run on the free Kontakt Player, which is excellent.
Perhaps this is because I'm rather inexperienced with guitar amp simulation, but I am having trouble getting the sound I need with Evolution Strawberry. "JAZZ IT UP" is a little bit closer; I am trying to get a Steely Dan Aja/jazz sound, but I am starting to think that the guitar sampled for Strawberry wasn't built for that. So far it seems more suitable for distortion effects.. I am just playing with Guitar Rig right now, but since I don't seem to be making progress I am wondering whether I may have some advice or help creating the proper sound with guitar rig (I assumed that the built-in effects were somehow derived from it, but that sounds like a silly assumption now)or/and the built-in effects. Yes I know the guitar isn't THE guitar used on the aforementioned album, but I thought that I could approximate the sound much more. Any suggestions?
Tweak up the lows and down on the highs or vice versa depending on the sound you want? It’s very flexible. Strawberry should be doable. Don’t give up. At the end of the day, Evolution Archtop is the premium spot on jazz guitar.✌🏾
Pitch bend wheel...you can set the bend range...also the system will do fretted slides without key switches if you program the notes in whole steps for the distance of the intended slide.
this isnot a vst in a keyboard, this is a real guitarist playing a guitar, trying to deceive us. (but doesnt get deceive me, im a god of music, thanx to jesus.........unhapily orange tree isnotthe only vstdeveloper making this trick
how they play "jazz it up" is so piano or elc. piano, u cant play guitar with piano style dude, u need to hear/learn more, btw this is not a good way to demonstrate a product, thumbs down
@@WidiRadenChannel RUclips him. Google him. Joe Pass jazz guitar....there’s plenty of footage and audio. This demo is by a guitarist who know how to use the vst as one would the real instrument. He does a good jazz motif when demo’ing the jazz it up preset. Let me know if you don’t think so after listening to Joe Pass on an actual guitar.✌🏾
Blaaah....!!! Its very easy to hear that this is not a guitar player, but samplings. I do agree that it is very good samplings, but for a guitar lover (like me), this is for no use. And especially in the lower registres, it becomes very clear that you´re listening to a sample machine. Please continue to learn to play guitar, kids!
+Henning Simonsen They've done a phenomenal job making it sound as realistic as possible in comparison to all the other attempts I've personally seen on the market so far. Aside from that though the whole point of libraries like this is to make expensive sounds cheaper and more readily available, For example have you seen how much an Ibanez is ? or a les paul ? for even pre-owned prices ? and that's besides all the pedals you would want in order to get 'that sound'
I think people like you miss the essence of these products! It isn't for the 1 or 2% of people who will be able to tell its real or fake. Its for the 99/98% of people who cannot hear the difference. I bet if you did a blind fold test you would struggle to hear a difference esp with Rigs etc etc
Nah, we like this. There’s always room for improvement though. We’re at the cusp of no longer needing to hire a session player, but we may still do so on occasions. Perhaps we will not choose to hire one and use this when we are exploring concepts and HAVING FUN!✌🏾
Well there could be a MODO version of a guitar instrument (currently in the ether for all I know) in the works. Only way to get 100% is to play the real thing though. That's a given.
9 years later this guitar simulator remains unmatched!
7 years later and it's still fantastic
WITH THESE PRESETS YOU DONT NEED TO ADD GUITAR RIG TO YOUR SETUP ...SOUNDS GREAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX !!!

Awesome presentation of Factory Presets. With this video I became clear in what I was looking for!
I'll buy this!
It’s a good feeling to find your guitar!👍🏾
This is positively awesome! Please have a Christmas group buy for this library in 2018!!!
This will do anything to have a Rock n' Roll on this one.
Is this for kontakt?? Man this sounds dope!
Love this, big up Orange Tree!
Who the hell gave a thumbs down?
Anyways, 2 days left to get in the group buy and the strat with 60% off.
in the begining is he playing those or is that a riff loop

Is this virtual guitar more geared towards funk then the Evolution Strawberry? I'm really curious..
I really like this one!!! a must have!!!

is it compatible with roli?
goooooooooooooooooooooooddddd
fantasticccccc, impresionante
Amazing sounds!! Depression Dream!!!!!
Best ever guitar library.
where can i find midi from this video?
Please release a standalone version. I'd hate to spend 399 € for full Kontakt 5, and then 179 $ for the actual sample library.
