please im begging you... is there a way to take these file off my x-2 and run them on my pc. (i have retrosrch installed.) there has to be a way to get a little better resolution/better performance. this is terrible, i didnt expect the games to be in 1080 but omg its so bad. im not very computer savy and ive scrubbed youtube for help. is there a discord where retro emulation is discussed and maybe i can find help? im a small streamer and most of my community, myself included, are old farts, lol. were trying to put a retro day into the schedule. lastly. ty for reading my comment, even if you cant or decide not to help.
I've had a scx for 3years almost and play it often. I never knew how to get videos on it or screen saver. The other tips you gave took me a lot of time and experimentation to figure out. These consoles are just so cool. Thanks for the crucial information about the scx. Well done sir

One thing I have heard about this thing is that when you try to play two player games it will load up two characters on the screen under the same controls. Have you heard about this? Is something to do with using the supplied controllers? Is there a workaround for this? Also, do you know if Xbox series X controllers will work? Thanks
Yes, I have had this issue before. You have to configure each controller, then assign each controller to the player. If that does not work you have to do assign controllers under retroarch the menu you can use to quicksave once the game is loaded. I had this happen to me. It was frustrating but I was able to get it to work. I will try and replicate and video the solution.
The save/load slots, are and individual list for each games or shared among all games? Like if I need to remember in which lot I saved a game so to save a different game in a different slot? Nice video by the way.
Different for every game. The numbers are for multiple save states for that game. I didn't know this at first and now have a notebook full of save state numbers that are unnecessary. I never use more than 2 states for a game so i just leave it on 0
@angryretrogamer7313 If I get far in a game, I'll double save to 2 slots just incase. Did you know that if the game has a built in save system and you save in game, it will detect and load the save file without your quick save? You can do both too.

I was able to map the first controller, but when I try to map, the second one it stopped working when I get down to program the analog sticks. I’m able to enter the commands to that point after that nothing registers. maybe I have a. defected controller. Thanks for responding.

My understanding is once you complete the disk, the save file will allow you to load disk 2 once you are ready to switch. FFIX should have multi games with the difference being the disk nunber.

Hello, i've bought a super console X2 pro and a WiFi joystick (very similar to ps4 pad) but console doesn't recognize it, i tried to press central button to switch to searching mode and when controller lamps to finding devices doesn't happen anything. Typically the Joysticks work via Bluetooth. You will need to get a Bluetooth receiver to plug into your USB outlet for each control stick. This is going to sound crazy but you have to connect your Microsd card to your computer. Once connected, you will get an alert that says corrupt and to fix sd card. After fixing the card, reconnect to your retro console and you should be able to quick save again.

Only just received this and configured the controllers, but there isn’t any consistent mapping to the games. They don’t list the controls for the games, so for example rather than assuming the left or right fire buttons map to fire in the game you have to hunt around trying to find the right random buttons assigned in the game. Am I doing something wrong??
You are not doing anything wrong. The emulators assign their buttons by default. If you have a favorite game, you can configure the controller to that specific game if you want.
Yes, you have to connect the micro SD card to your pc. There are rom folders found in the files. Do not rearrange or delete anything. You have to add roms that are as the same format as the other roms already in the console folder.
Hi, I got it a couple of months ago but I have a problem, since day 1 I'm trying to play multiplayer games and the second controller won't be recognised inside game, on the menu it seems to work (both controllers showing in settings and both have their buttons assigned). I tried 10-20 games (mostly ps1). Any suggestions? Do any other people have the same problem?

I found a fix for this. I encountered the same issue. To fix, take your microsd card and connect it to the pc. You should get a message on your pc saying your card needs a fix. Select fix card. After finished, safely remove the card by selecting eject after right clicking the drive and re install to your xpro.

My device came with 2. The one included was taped shut. The smaller 4 gig one does not have games on it. I believe it comes with the device they modded. The card included should be fully operational out the box. If not return it and get a new one.

I just got an X2 pro. At first it turned on just fine. I restarted it and now its just a blank screen. Ive tried powering it off and on multiple times. I did change the video to 1080 from what it autodetected. Is there any help you can provide?
There is a button on the device that powers it on. It is advised to leave it pressed on and to use the power down feature in emuelec. You can leave the button pressed on and unplug the device. When you plug it back in, it will automatically power on.
Same here. I purchased a usb and installed the other card into it, then placed it in the usb slot, with the game card in the chip slot. That made it able to pull the games up again. I played with this several different ways before successfully getting my games up. When it worked before, I only needed the game card in. I don’t know why the change and you are the first I have come across with the same issue. I couldn’t find any help on it. I hope this works for you. It is rather disappointing.

I am not sure I understand your question. Are you saying the SD card is not being read by the device? It should have a 256gb SD card installed by default and the 4gb SD card does not need to be put in.
In knights of the round, my coin buttom is selecting coin for both player 1 and 2, and im controlling both players with one control, i dont know how to fix it

This is my personal set up at home. At the 2 min mark I show the screen to remap the controller. This will work work with most games. However, I have found a better way to do it. I'll post later. I thought you would like to see my set up though!
Do not buy a light gun unless you have this connected to a crt TV. Which is hard because the only out put is HDMI. If you do want to play light gun games with HDMI, you have to buy sensors that go around the monitor.

Even changing the emulator entire series of games such as Saturn colecovision intellivision do not work. What should I do? The red screen appears on me
Unfortunately not all systems included are going to run. Some of the newer consoles have better hardware that allow the emulators to play these systems. On the super console x4 pro I recently reviewed, I was unable to get it to work either.
I just got this system a few days ago and when I push the start button on the controller that system came with I don’t get this long menu of options like I see on your video. I get a screen that is asking for a code to access files or something. Any idea what this issue is?
I do not have experience adding more emulators to this device. I have used more expensive retro consoles that already have Naomi 2 installed. I believe it is not included because it might not be powerful enough to run it.
I upgraded from 4.6 to 4.7 on X2 Pro and got several issues.. Lost all saved progress on games. Buttons are all mixed even though its still "default" controller setting. All games now super laggy, and all games square instead of full screen with poor graphics. How can I fix this?
Turn off Bevels and change the aspect Ratio to 16:9. Keep in mind the bevels are there for games that are not naturally wide screen. This will stretch the picture.

@@quickskillz yes it did. I booted it up but it just show the kinhank loading screen forever. I took another card, good one and load it up with emuelec 4.6, stuck at the emuelec loading screen. I think something wrong with the os. Maybe kinhank using their own custom one. Can you compress the emuelec os and send me the link?

You have to connect the mircosd card to your computer and access the files. You will need to delete a few games to make room. The best ones will be PSP or dreamcast games you will never play.
I would not know for sure. However, look at my box opening video. If yours comes like mine, it is likely the same. Amazon is very customer friendly, so if the product doesn't work, you can always return it. However, my link is currently the cheapest option off Aliexpress.

Is the controller plugged in? Also, there is a small adapter in the battery pack that that's to be slide into a USB outlet. Can you confirm you did both of these steps?
Hi so I tried plugging in a Playstation controller it does nothing but seem to want to charge it. I also plugged in the little adapter there was only 1 and all I cab do is move up and down on the screen I can't play any games and pressing start does nothing. Also the other controller did not come with an adapter and won't even turn on. I think I got a bad system unfortunately. Unless you know of anything I'm missing. Thanks!
I couldn't get a retro bit usb genesis 6 button controller to work to save my life. It controls the menu but won't start a game like the start button won't work in game but works in the menu. Frustrating! I actually bought 3 different USB controllers so i could use the original controller with sg nes and N64 but the results are the same for all. Im pretty sure it has something to do with not having enough buttons but still can't figure it out.
I am not convinced it will delete the files but if you shut down the machine in the OS it is less likely anything happens. I understand a lot of people complain that their card got corrupted but mine never has and I attribute it to shutting down before powering off.
It is a modded andriod box. Works for TV. Get the wireless controller option. The wired controllers are too short. Use my link in description to get the one I am giving tips for. I still use mine often.

@Maxicew While in a game, try pushing select and X at the same time. Or Select and Y. One of these will pull up a back end menu. DO NOT mess with any of the settings here. However you can do save states and load save states here.

Which shader is the best one that removes all the blocks on the NES games? I want the NES games to look like the Super Nintendo games (crisp and clear - no blocks making up the image).
This is driving me insane that I can't remove the freaking pixels. I can't find the right shader. I've probably tried at least 20. Please help. I just want clear images like your videos on NES games. And the visible square pixels are destroying my enjoyment of this console. It's clearly a setting, because I was able to remove the square pixels on the Super NES games but I can't replicate it on NES yet.
I'm working through the N64 games at the moment, but the biggest problem I have is with the racing games - most of them don't steer. Mario Kart works fine but I can't move left or right on any other, and haven't found a fix for this

Bluetooth controllers will not work without a Bluetooth receiver adapter. I have found xbox like controllers with the provided adapter for around $25.

Each save slot is independent of each other. When you boot a different rom will not overwrite your other games.

I've never encountered this. My guess is if you connect it to your pc via microsd reader, you should find a snapshot folder.

I use Parallel with the x2 pro. I reviewed the x4 pro and n64 comes in much better. It has a better chip.

What is the 4GB micro SD for? How many 256GB is there in it?
The 256 is likely near full. The 4 gb runs the andriod box OS. You do not need it.

roleta is pretty good menu and game selection look really neat good for the eye
Only just received this and configured the controllers, but there isn’t any consistent mapping to the games. They don’t list the controls for the games, so for example rather than assuming the left or right fire buttons map to fire in the game you have to hunt around trying to find the right random buttons assigned in the game. Am I doing something wrong??
You are not doing anything wrong. The emulators assign their buttons by default. If you have a favorite game, you can configure the controller to that specific game if you want.
I just posted a rekey video that is made for fight sticks but the same method works for all controllers.

Mine came with 2 sd cards. One had the games the second was the coreelec o.s which is an alternate to the retroarch that's on the games sd card.

Yes. If you scroll through the different systems you’ll see a section called user instructions or something like that. It tells you how to add games.
Yes, you have to connect the micro SD card to your pc. There are rom folders found in the files. Do not rearrange or delete anything. You have to add roms that are as the same format as the other roms already in the console folder.

I have never encountered this problem. I would contact the vendor. Sometimes they will ship you a new one.

Hi, I got it a couple of months ago but I have a problem, since day 1 I'm trying to play multiplayer games and the second controller won't be recognised inside game, on the menu it seems to work (both controllers showing in settings and both have their buttons assigned). I tried 10-20 games (mostly ps1). Any suggestions? Do any other people have the same problem?

I made a video about remapping keys for a fight stick. It talks you through how to set each controller. The same method works for fight sticks as controllers. See if this helps.
Hi i have this and its great. Ive accidently pressed something in the menus and my home screen with all the consoles and games has changed from the look in your video to a style that displays the console , gives info on the console abd has the console listings along the bottom . Have you any ideas how i can change it back

I have encountered this exact glitch and it appears to only do this on certain systems. Not sure how to fix the problem.
I found a fix for this. I encountered the same issue. To fix, take your microsd card and connect it to the pc. You should get a message on your pc saying your card needs a fix. Select fix card. After finished, safely remove the card by selecting eject after right clicking the drive and re install to your xpro.
Hello.I've connected a mouse and it works in the menu but it does not work in the games (for example the Lemmings game). Is there a specific proceedure or configuration so as to work? I've tried diferent mouse but non of them work.Could you tell about please?
I never used a mouse. I'll give it a try. I used a wireless keyboard with built in mouse pad and that worked for me.

Can I ask a question what should I do if the device won’t pull up the games screen with the memory card ? But with the memory card in the console it will show where you can add videos , apps etc
My device came with 2. The one included was taped shut. The smaller 4 gig one does not have games on it. I believe it comes with the device they modded. The card included should be fully operational out the box. If not return it and get a new one.
What about 4 player? Anyway, you can show a video about how to hook up 4 controllers.

Yes, I use wired PC gaming controllers. All you need to do is configure the controller. Also if you go wireless, you need one with an adapter.

I'm having issues saving games to the favourite folder. The system tells me it's saved to favourite folder but when i go to the folder it's always empty. Any ideas ?
I just got an X2 pro. At first it turned on just fine. I restarted it and now its just a blank screen. Ive tried powering it off and on multiple times. I did change the video to 1080 from what it autodetected. Is there any help you can provide?
There is a button on the device that powers it on. It is advised to leave it pressed on and to use the power down feature in emuelec. You can leave the button pressed on and unplug the device. When you plug it back in, it will automatically power on.
Same here. I purchased a usb and installed the other card into it, then placed it in the usb slot, with the game card in the chip slot. That made it able to pull the games up again. I played with this several different ways before successfully getting my games up. When it worked before, I only needed the game card in. I don’t know why the change and you are the first I have come across with the same issue. I couldn’t find any help on it. I hope this works for you. It is rather disappointing.

I am not sure I understand your question. Are you saying the SD card is not being read by the device? It should have a 256gb SD card installed by default and the 4gb SD card does not need to be put in.
How do we change the game difficulty, every game has "level 4" dificulty by default, how do we change it?

Alot of these arcade roms you have to hold start or select as the game boots up. That should pull up the settings menu.
Let me know if that worked for you and for what game you were successful at doing it with.

@dhspeixoto I have come across this bug. I'll see if I can do a vid on it. It's really hard to describe via text. I also found a fix for CP3 and should work on other arcade cabs too.

This is my personal set up at home. At the 2 min mark I show the screen to remap the controller. This will work work with most games. However, I have found a better way to do it. I'll post later. I thought you would like to see my set up though!

Anyone recommend a cheap usb light gun for gun games? Is it just plug and play or do you need to calibrate or change settings?
Do not buy a light gun unless you have this connected to a crt TV. Which is hard because the only out put is HDMI. If you do want to play light gun games with HDMI, you have to buy sensors that go around the monitor.

Even changing the emulator entire series of games such as Saturn colecovision intellivision do not work. What should I do? The red screen appears on me
Unfortunately not all systems included are going to run. Some of the newer consoles have better hardware that allow the emulators to play these systems. On the super console x4 pro I recently reviewed, I was unable to get it to work either.

I do not have experience adding more emulators to this device. I have used more expensive retro consoles that already have Naomi 2 installed. I believe it is not included because it might not be powerful enough to run it.
I upgraded from 4.6 to 4.7 on X2 Pro and got several issues.. Lost all saved progress on games. Buttons are all mixed even though its still "default" controller setting. All games now super laggy, and all games square instead of full screen with poor graphics. How can I fix this?

How do you get it full screen instead of the console on each side
Turn off Bevels and change the aspect Ratio to 16:9. Keep in mind the bevels are there for games that are not naturally wide screen. This will stretch the picture.
Is there anyway to add an emulator to the device ? I've ordered mine and its meant to be coming soon i asked the seller if it had PS2 Emulator on they've told me it doesn't so I would like to know if its possible to put it on

@@quickskillz yes it did. I booted it up but it just show the kinhank loading screen forever. I took another card, good one and load it up with emuelec 4.6, stuck at the emuelec loading screen. I think something wrong with the os. Maybe kinhank using their own custom one. Can you compress the emuelec os and send me the link?
GTA 1 on ps1 hangs while loading, I changed emulation methods and it didn't help 😢
Are you able to add emulators? Like gamecube?
This device is not good for adding emulators. It cannot run GameCube games either. It can add roms to the emulators already in it.

because I have "The super console X cube" and it has a real bad input lag.
It might be a hardware issue. I use a pc xbox style controller and have no input lag. The included controllers have very small input lag.

You have to connect the mircosd card to your computer and access the files. You will need to delete a few games to make room. The best ones will be PSP or dreamcast games you will never play.
Are the units on Amazon the same at Aliexpress?
I would not know for sure. However, look at my box opening video. If yours comes like mine, it is likely the same. Amazon is very customer friendly, so if the product doesn't work, you can always return it. However, my link is currently the cheapest option off Aliexpress.

You will hold either X or Y and a star should pop up. It will appear at the top of that category list and also accessible from favorites.

Is the controller plugged in? Also, there is a small adapter in the battery pack that that's to be slide into a USB outlet. Can you confirm you did both of these steps?
Hi so I tried plugging in a Playstation controller it does nothing but seem to want to charge it. I also plugged in the little adapter there was only 1 and all I cab do is move up and down on the screen I can't play any games and pressing start does nothing. Also the other controller did not come with an adapter and won't even turn on. I think I got a bad system unfortunately. Unless you know of anything I'm missing. Thanks!

I couldn't get a retro bit usb genesis 6 button controller to work to save my life. It controls the menu but won't start a game like the start button won't work in game but works in the menu. Frustrating! I actually bought 3 different USB controllers so i could use the original controller with sg nes and N64 but the results are the same for all. Im pretty sure it has something to do with not having enough buttons but still can't figure it out.
Why are you convinced pressing the power button will delete files?
I am not convinced it will delete the files but if you shut down the machine in the OS it is less likely anything happens. I understand a lot of people complain that their card got corrupted but mine never has and I attribute it to shutting down before powering off.

It is a modded andriod box. Works for TV. Get the wireless controller option. The wired controllers are too short. Use my link in description to get the one I am giving tips for. I still use mine often.
Also if you have the budget, get the largest memory card you can afford (it comes with more roms) and select the US plug 🔌.

@Maxicew While in a game, try pushing select and X at the same time. Or Select and Y. One of these will pull up a back end menu. DO NOT mess with any of the settings here. However you can do save states and load save states here.

Oh no! They sell just the SD card on aliexpress. I also know of people who clone the card to a higher quality card for back up.

There is a button that powers it on. I just leave it pressed in. When you plug it in, it powers on. Shut down through browser

Which shader is the best one that removes all the blocks on the NES games? I want the NES games to look like the Super Nintendo games (crisp and clear - no blocks making up the image).
This is driving me insane that I can't remove the freaking pixels. I can't find the right shader. I've probably tried at least 20. Please help. I just want clear images like your videos on NES games. And the visible square pixels are destroying my enjoyment of this console. It's clearly a setting, because I was able to remove the square pixels on the Super NES games but I can't replicate it on NES yet.
Is it really good for N64 games??
I'm working through the N64 games at the moment, but the biggest problem I have is with the racing games - most of them don't steer. Mario Kart works fine but I can't move left or right on any other, and haven't found a fix for this
