Low sound problem happens on earpods after couple of months, you just have to clean them, on earpods heres how you you check if they need cleaning.
1) Turn on Flash of your mobile.
2) Place the small hole of your earpods on the flash.
3) look through the bigger hole/mesh (the part that goes into your ear)
4) You should see clear tiny holes in the mesh otherwise it needs cleaning.
I don't have airpods so cant confirm that if it works on them.
Even if your airpods are working just fine, check them and clean both you will get sound boost, trust me

Thijs dubbelboer use a cotton swab with alcohol pads and aim the AirPods downs so no liquid goes into the pod itself and dip the swab in alcohol and wipe dry with the other side. Repeat until sounding good and make sure it’s dry before you test it out

Apple customer support really is way ahead of any of the other tech companies. Good to know this went smoothly. Things happen even with the most expensive of products. It's how the company handles it that really matters. The ignorant comments must be tough to ignore so I give you a lot of credit.

If your jaybirds, for example, are defective then the whole thing is replaced for free, considered it's covered under manufacturer warranty. You don't actually buy a new pair for the same defective earbud problem you had with AirPods.
But yes, with AirPods you can buy an individual AirPod, left or right, if you damaged in, lost it, or any other reason that doesn't qualify for free replacement under manufacturer warranty. The replacement for one AirPod is $70 or whatever. For jaybirds, you'd have to buy the whole thing again $180 or whatever they are.
I've had two iPhones replaced for free because of a manufacturing defect. I did it in store, same day, on the spot replacement. Apple makes it ridiculously easy. And via mail, they pay for the fastest shipping. They're very good at customer service. Nice to see you're impressed after experiencing a free-replacement yourself.

The same volume problem happened with me. It's due to airwax getting stuck on the driver, and it's fixed by just "sucking" on the part of it that goes in your ear until you feel air coming through... Gross, but it works

I've always had very good customer service from Apple and quick replacements Apple Care in the past. Glad to see you got a replacement so quickly. People say Apple is expensive, but its really not for the quality of products and they factor in support which most other technology companies don't. I've had really bad support for a few other tech companies in the past before i went all Apple.

You couldn't order all 3 parts and get them in a day, because, from what I've heard, if your case is having problems, you have to order a whole new pair, which takes 6 weeks. I may be wrong though.

2. charge the airpods while they’re in the case for like 10 mins
3.hold down the button until it turns white and it’ll sync

Just clean them out with a q tip. Don’t worry about it being pushed in further. I have used this method for months and it works fine after.

Technically, you wired EarPods & Lightning cables are replaceable for free as well. Just have to prove you bought them, or they came with a iDevice purchase. I saw this and asked a Store rep. This is the explanation I got. But I'd still double check with them either in-store or on the phone. Still, not a bad bit of customer service from The House that Jobs Built.

You can also go to the Apple Store for you're replacement AirPods, it's covered under the one year warranty.
All you had to do with the lower volume AirPod is suck in the speaker part wit your mouth ( I know but it works ) I saw this trick online and it’s works like it was brand new

Did Apple Techs ponder question(s) like "what if a regular use of one of the buds results to the weakening of the battery and ergo the disruption of sound balance (like you experienced) and (b) ok; they replaced yours, pronto. I give them that. But, given the failure and given the fact that the pods have individual batteries, they ought to have replaced both (they ought to have sent you a brand new, complete product).

I’ve had beats x for over a year now and have had problems every couple of months. And they get me to send them in and either repair them or send me a new pair
I had my airpods replaced because they would disconnect so often with my phone and I took it to apple within my one year of warranty and they gave me a pair of new headphones(not the case). I got a bill from them which did say that the charge was free but showed the charge if it had been out of warranty. The cost per headphone is 89$(canadian). So this goes to show if your headphones go out of warranty and you have to replace either the left or right headphone for some reason it is possible but it's also kinda pricey.

If you are under an iPhone warranty the wired headphones are covered for defects. Even under AppleCare they will replace them. I've had a few sets replaced for my daughter.

The reason the sound gets quieter is because of the earwax buildup. You need to suck on the speaker part of the airpod, and then dry it.

Recently my beats x weren't working, they wouldn't turn on so I called Apple and they said we'll send you a replacement box, put the beats x in it, send it back to us and we'll send you new ones. The process was very quick and amazing at no cost.
