    We need more of these histories in our schools, for African to take pride in themselves, which will lead to mutual caring across the continent. We equally need good stories to motivate our upcoming generation. I am South African, and I happen to interact with lots of our African people and realize how much more common e have than differences. Before COVID, I used to take holidays once a year in other African countries (This far did entire SADC) and when this political COVID is over, Rwanda, and Tanzania on my family holiday list

    • @the_re_up
      @the_re_up 3 года назад +1

      You sound silly, where is the pride in any of these stories? Lol its the same story different country, a man becomes president, uses poor money hungry boys as milita to enforce his egotistical policies, fend off several waves of opposition and lavish in loads of money. Nothing to be proud of as a nation. What we need is more stories of inspiration, who are these countries folk hero’s, activists, inventors etc. We all know large majority of Africa’s leaders are crooks.

    • @NarrowedPath
      @NarrowedPath 2 года назад

      What’s there to take pride in here? It’s only a batch of people who hardly learn from history and so history keeps repeating itself over and over again sparing no country.

    It's really chilling because it's almost exactly the same to what was happening in the neighbouring Tanzania - infact many in Tanzania suspect Magufuli was from Burundi. They both came in power as the advocates of the poors and they became dictators... Magufuli was also in the process of changing the constitution. They both killed and kidnapped their opponents. They both denied scientific measures of dealing with covid-19 and both died of covid-19 ( heart attack in bureacratic language 😂😂😂😂) Somehow covid was a blessing at least it accelerated the process of getting lid of dictators from both countries.
