- See what websites or services other people are using on your Wi-Fi network with this simple trick.
An alternate way(other than the method shown in the video) of doing this is by doing ARP poisoning. To know what is meant by ARP poisoning, and how to do it, watch this video : • Video
In this video, we will configure our Wi-Fi router to use the OpenDNS as the default DNS. So every DNS request that any device connected to your Wi-Fi sends to OpenDNS , is recorded and it shown to us in our dashboard. In this way, we can see what other people on our Wi-Fi are browing from their devices!

To change the DNS settings on your Wi-Fi router, you should open your Router's homepage. You can do that by accessing the Default Gateway address of your router.
If you don't know the username and password for your Wi-Fi router, perform a quick google search with your router's company and model number, and you will find the default username and password.
Every router page has a different UI, to know where the DNS settings are located on your Router's page, you can perform a google search or search through forums on opendns.com
Once you are done configuring everything, you must wait atleast 24 hours to start seeing the DNS request reports made by all the devices on your Wi-Fi. You can see these reports on your Cisco Umbrella Dashboard.

To all the people saying those are too many steps to do, you are sadly wrong. As soon as you are doing anything private in the internet over wlan(For this example) someone will be able, with enough time and effort, to track you. If you really want a more secure internet connection, i would say you should use something like TOR box. The Problem with "normal" pcs is, that the slightest error can be an open door for the attacker. Tor box(or Tor WLAN) forces everything trough the Tor network, which makes it much harder to tell what you are doing.
Completely agree, it would be foolish to do something that’s even slightly malicious without a secure connection. That goes for browsing too. If you want to be safe, do it properly.

A simple way to bypass this is by using a VPN or Tor.
Though some sites will outright block you from accessing them if you use Tor, mostly because only hackers/bots need this much privacy.

Great video. But the drawback is it doesn't give me a device wise breakup, like which device is accessing which domain. Say if there are 5 devices connected to the router, it gives an aggregate view of all the domain requests across all devices combined.

Yes there is. You can see all Mac addresses connected to the network and enter the Mac addresses of devices individually. After u can see what they are browsing

I live in a rear in-law suite behind my landlords house. He has Spectrum services with premium cable, phone, and Internet. The coaxil cable also comes into my apartment and feeds a premium cable Spectrum box that he pays an extra fee for. I piggyback Internet services through his wifi from the modem and router in his house, but there's too much distance and interference (walls) to get a good signal. I bought a plug in wireless signal enhancer which made the signal bearable for very light Internet surfing, but I cannot stream videos or live sports.
So my question is this: can I pick up a used modem at a thrift shop and make it work somehow in my apartment? Or is there anything else I can do? Thanks for any help.

I ain't a computer geek, yet I could tell my browsing history was being looked at. Regardless of who it is, it didn't matter. Was only concerned about their intentions. Realised that it was done out of good intentions, just an unethical mean. Also there is really nothing for me to hide anything from anyone. I maybe shy but I ain't ashamed of anything I do on the browser. For someone to go through all this must mean that the other person is of great concern to them. However it's freaky too. Shows to what lengths they could stoop to observe someone's behaviour. The video was very educational. Thanks.
