For those of us who don't drink alcohol, what would you use as a substitute for the amaretto? The bitters I'd sub with grapefruit juice, and the rum for canned apricot juice, but amaretto is a bit off-beat for me. Please help
Why are using ‘dry’ ingredient measuring utensils, instead of an actual ‘liquid’ measuring beaker. I mean I understand it’s just a ‘close enough’ recipe; just curious.

there are actually non-alcoholic versions of amaretto and rum now available! Even bitters you can find without alcohol (ie glycerin-based)
