I finally open the box and tried my Romeo that I purchased in October 2023.🤫 His name is Sir Romey. I love it. He is everything that my other cutter is not. Now, on to making my Sir Romey Journal and watch, take notes and then craft along with all of the Romeo Wednesday videos. I got a lot of catching up to do. 😅 Thank you Delonda for EVERYTHING!!! ❤
Thank you so much for saying that! I actually thought it was broken and I was embarrassed; but I wanted everyone to know just in case it happened to the.
I should have watched this before I turned on my machine!! I didn't realize those white plastic pieces needed to come off!! 😬 This video is so helpful!!!!
I’m so glad I watched this, I had just got my Romeo and was so glad I wasn’t the only one who didn’t remove the white things as well. I was so scared when I heard the noise also 😂, so thank you I love all of your tutorials and I hope to one day go to walapalooza myself
Nim new to cutting machine's I'm learning alot from you, thank you for sharing! I really enjoy the community I get lots of giggles from you gals! Thank you
Omg! It's a fantastic machine and I will continue to enjoy watching you perfect your skills using it. I'm still intimidated by the explorer machines. 😂❤😂
Thank you so much!! I'm brand new to the world of vinyl cutting and pressing so I appreciate the opportunity to learn from your examples, and your mistakes!! Excited to keep learning!! This is my retirement hobby!!
Good morning, I’m sorry I’m 7 hours late ⏰ seeing your part 2 video. That’s one beautiful machine! I was wondering if the Romeo had an available stand. Again, Delonda, CONGRATULATIONS on your retirement after 25 years in your school district. Your story time video was really beautiful. I pray that this new chapter will prove to be all the joy and fulfillment that you are endeavoring it to be. I’m so happy that you are crafting and that you have been crafting for a couple of years now. That should make your transition to retirement much easier. I say this because my husband retired after over 48 years civil service, and has been having a difficult time adjusting to life without his usual routine. This should not happen to you because you have been crafting for a couple years, and you are still teaching, which is what you are gifted to do. Delonda, you do such an amazing job explaining the details of every aspect of what you’re teaching. Yes, it’s your gift from God! He is with you and will continue to guide you in every aspect of your life. I’m so happy that Peter is on board and supporting your decision to retire. You are a beautiful couple. And they two shall be one. I’m truly happy for you. I’m happy for your family. Life has only gotten better for you and your family, and it will continue to grow better and better… with many wonderful surprises and blessings from the Lord. (Romeo turned on smoothly that time). What a beautiful cutting machine! Back to the video now. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Something I liked about the machine watching this video is, the fact the tool holder it’s not counted as part of the machine’s cutting space. The whole tool holder part looks around 2 inches and hidden almost perfectly on the side. It seems like you can cut the whole 26 inches. That’s is a really good cutting side. ❤
I am so sorry for just responding. I am trying to get myself on track and one thing I said I was going to do is respond to every comment I missed. I am really loving this machine so far. I just need to learn more about how to use the software.
Thanks for sharing your insight. I'm going to look into this machine too. It does have a lot of good features. I can't wait to see more of your videos on Romeo. Have a blessed day.
Wow how amazing I am so excited but if I get one it will be the smaller one possibly I have to decide to save my coins for this big boy thank you for being honest and kind ❤
@@CraftingwithDelonda You are so thoughtful ❤ I love your videos. I have been debating possibly on the Romeo or Juliet so your tutorials will definitely help me on my decision ❤❤
Thank you so much for that unboxing Delonda. It is exciting! I have not unboxed my new Siser Romeo yet, but I'm trying to get as much knowledge as I can first.
Great video! I love the fact that you showed your bloopers but you always do so that was not a surprise😊. Thanks for showing us how to use it. It makes me want to look into Siser cutters but I don’t really need a new cutter; when has that ever stopped me 😊. Maybe, I will gift one of my Cricut machines to someone; that way, in my mind, I can justify buying a Siser one.
That be a big boy....! I knew it was big but your view really shows the size. Looking forward to learning with you. I don't have a machine but did download the software a week or so ago. Tracey
@@CraftingwithDelonda This January I got the Solo StarCraft . The cutting set-up is about the same but I don’t care for their software. So, I mainly use it to cut rhinestone templates. Kicking myself now because I could have gotten the Juliet but because it was so new and I didn’t know what features their software would have chose the other machine. I really….like what they’re doing with the Leonardo software though! Prior to the Solo, was mainly a Silhouette user for years and dabbled with Cricut some. Tracey
So happy for you. If I ever get another cutting machine thinking it will have to be either Juliet or Romeo. Can’t wait to hear your opinions on Leonardo Design Software.
I love it. The design is beautiful, it is very quick, silent ect. Much to learn and just like you said, we learn togheter. ❤❤ Thank you for tutorial. You can do it 💪🏾🥂
Hey Delonda, I love your creative flow, your real personality, and your teaching techniques. Everyone can't teach !!! What and where can I get that electric shelf that you have your Romeo on? I am a beginner, but interested in the larger machine to make banners. signs and BD props. Thanks for all that you pour out.
@@MakingwithMarilyn I cut with the backing on, with no mat. I set the force at 55, speed 10. Each machine may require a little different setting, use the test cut feature until you find what works best. I only use the mat when I use scraps for small items.

I like this because there's no need for mats, but I need to know if it has the feature for viewing your design on t- shirts, bags etc. before making it? I love that on the Cricut. I don't want to lose it. Other than that it looks like a solid machine. Thanks Delonda.

I am so excited for you! This is awesome. Is the main difference between the Romeo and the Juliet the cutting size? I assume they both cut flock? They both seem to cut much faster than the Cricut Maker for sure. 😊
I’m so happy that you have the Romeo. I completed my first project last night with my Romeo. It was a success. Rhinestones and Siser easy color DTV. Super ambitious project form my assistant, and she loved it. FYI please do not use the HTV RONT rhinestone flock. It’s the absolute worst. I tried the TRW Magic flock and it’s incredible.
