For a game that most of my friends have never heard of, or think shouldn't have existed, I love this game. It was a key part of my childhood and I cry listening to it.
Absolutely same here a 10/10 story (for me I guess because everyone picked different choices for their story that’s the beauty of the game you can get all different stories yet the same feeling and the soundtrack just 10/10 also maybe you’re friends don’t like story games and maybe they don’t deserve to enjoy it the way we did as younger kids

This comment was stupid and I'm not sure why it got likes, but I'm leaving my final thoughts on this song here instead. I grew up to this song, this series was the call to action, the hero's journey that I really needed ages 13-15. It taught me how to feel and love and be myself in a way I never thought it would have been able to. Now, this song quietly, gently finishes my childhood and lovingly sends me out into the big scary adult world as a completely different person than I was when I first found it. And when I listen to it, I feel like I am ready. i see how much I've grown and I am finally ready to let go, to move on and take it all on. This song will always have a really special place in my heart, thank you guys for the journey.

The music has gotten better for season 2. It's so emotional you can feel the love that was put into this, it makes me smile and laugh sometimes and then ends with a sigh of how much this game makes me feel, this game has helped me throughout my semester whenever I'm feeling tired and down and it will do it again. This game is indeed an adventure.

For those who didn’t know, After The Credits of Episode 8, an End Credits Scene was played, showing where Jesse and Otto sent Hadrian and Mevia, and the first time you could choose what Jesse says in the series defies this End Credits Scene, If you answered Olivia’s Question about “What Would You Rather Fight” and responded with “100 Chicken Size Zombies” Then Hadrian and Mevia would be sent into a world full of 100 Chicken Sized Zombies, and they would be sent to another dimension if you chose the other option.

Mcsm is a full world... A complete world. Each character has their ups and downs, each giving their opinions... Our actions shaping the world as we see fit. And quite a bit of pure comedy and miniature 4th wall breaking to keep us all entertained.
Thank you, Minecraft Story Mode, for giving us a wonderful journey across the many biomes and alternate worlds that minecraft has in store. There is no need for a season 3, for there is no where else to go. Whether you wait for Petra or travel with her: We all know that is the best ending we can ever hope for.

Hearing the VOCAL VERSION in the final credits for the last episode of Season 2 was a gut wrenching ending. Something about this song is magical...
Let me start off by saying this. MCSM’s soundtrack is amazing. Season 1 was great, but seasons 2 soundtrack was a big improvement. But that’s not all. Minecraft story mode was great game, and the music was great as well. Great job you guys on the music. I love this track, as much other people do. I was a fan of this game, ever since it came out, and I still love both seasons today. I don’t know if telltale is going to make a season 3, but if they do, that would be so great. But if they don’t, I might be upset, I might cry, but this game will still cling on to me. People might not agree with me, but I won’t mind. Again. This game was great, and the music in it, was so perfectly done. I think you guys did great. And you guys uploading the soundtrack from season 1, that gave me so much nostalgia. Once again, you guys did a excellent job with the music. And I think this is me spreading the love.

I never realized how much this game impacted my life until recently. When I played through it for the first time, I saw what Jesse accomplished and even though it would be impossible for that to happen in our world, I felt like ‘well if they can do something impactful, so can I’. Jesse was a character I looked up to as a kid. Looking back, if I never had this game in my life, I would be a suicidal loner with no passions or interests. But no. I’m a talented, motivated, and interesting person! This game honestly helped me realize that yes, I can leave my mark on this world. So thank you, Telltale, I miss you.

well I'm from the future to tell you that telltale is back. unfortunately they did not acquire the rights to mcsm when they revived telltale. meaning that MCSM has little to no chance of ever making a comeback sadly 😢

As a very lonely and socially anxious autistic kid who didn't really have friends pretty much up until his teenage years, the series this song comes from gave me a lot that I'll always remember and cherish.
The reason why (I think, looking back now) had to do with being so isolated, finding it so hard to be me and have the people around me be simply supportive of that as I did what I wanted to do. And, in Minecraft Story Mode, you're allowed to have those things (if just briefly, perhaps).
You get to be Jesse, you get to have all these friends and other figures that you actually get to build relationships with, you get to be a part of a story that immerses you, that just makes sense to you, and you get to determine how it goes (at least it feels like that, of course).
And that was a great sanctuary for me. My social anxiety, my autism couldn't inhibit me anymore. I could just kind of live, in front of my old television screen and Dorito crusted PS4 controller.
Now, I'm 16 and have made so much progress since the first game came out. I am in an environment that has helped me with my social anxiety, allowed me to build relationships as healthy (if not more so) than the best ones Jesse had, and has just let me be the quirky little neurodivergent kid I can be and always have been.
In some ways, when I was most enthralled with MSM, it helped me realise the problems I was facing, that there has to be something seriously wrong when I'm not on the couch that I kind of need to hear the console whirring up to start to feel normal for once.
All in all, thank you to everyone who put in the work to give me that experience (including you, Skyler and Andrew).

It is disappointing that this game will no longer be able to be downloaded but I had great memories playing both Season 1 & 2.

Almost every person that has heard of MCST under rates it, it's really good. To me it's one of my favorite games along side to the walking dead and portal. Every time I hear this and the original theme it almost brings me to tears.

I open this song when I'm sad because when you're really sad it gives you joy and reminds me of my 19-year-old friend whose mother died. Do you want me to explain how it happened? Well, I think we met when we were 5 years old (I don't remember) and one day we had a very bad argument and we were offended for a long time. Anyway, we went to our country and when we got back, I wanted to go to my friend, I went, but he and his brother were there, I said, "What are you so sad?" He said my mother died, of course, I did not believe it, but it was true. After 4 days, the child welfare institution took them. And we didn't see each other after that until 15 years later. So when I listen to this song, I feel my feelings of that day again. There is only one thing I want from you, do not be offended by anyone and live in peace. :(

I literally have no words for minecraft story mode… nostalgia… is… unbeatable.
I remember being so amazed as a kid, learning that Minecraft was getting a Story Mode. I was too young to understand the difference between development houses, so I wasn't aware of the games being Telltale's work until the games were delisted (I was too young for the Walking Dead craze, so I wasn't aware of their popularity or the other games they put out).
I thought that my favorite game studio was finally giving Minecraft a story mode, something I'd always wanted because despite my love for Minecraft I was never a creative child. I thought Story Mode was my opportunity to buy into an adventure made in my favorite game that I could paint with my own canvas and paintbrush. So I ate up the game as a kid, ravenously buying and playing the episodes as they came out, and so I was right there and waiting when Season 2 came out. When I played through the first episode, the piano started playing in the credits (I loved and still love No More Creepers for its sad, nostalgic tone that I felt even as a kid) and I sat back to relax as the credits rolled. It felt like a shock went through me when the singing started. I was so amazed my jaw dropped and hung there for the entire credits sequence just sitting there and watching. Tears might have come to my eye, it was such an amazing experience, my favorite song having lyrics now. It's something I'll always remember, and something I don't think I'll ever recapture for as long as I play video games.

Man this has been a rocky ride down memory lane.
This journey started when I was five when I first discovered the first season.
I begged my dad to buy this for me when I found out it existed cause it really looked cool cause I watched RUclips NONSTOP at the time and I’ve seen play through’s
I bought it and it affected me for the rest of my life.
It changed me in a good and bad way.
Then three years later I learned the second season was in progress so again I begged my parents to buy it cause I really loved the first season.
I spoiled the first two episodes cause I’m that kind of person.
So then I played through them all and chose the kind route with following Petra.
Then the final episode came and there goes my eyes.
I cried the whole day, LOL.
Then kicked in the rest of my life.
In eleven now so it’s been like six years since the first time I played.
I’ve been rewatching everything that I used to watch and this came up in my recommended.
Hopefully whoever is reading this has a good day!

MCSM is one of my favorite games, I was really sad that the game wouldn't continue... It's a part of our childhood being discontinued.
I mean season two ended with no cliffhanger and it tied up everything for me it was a perfect ending but then the end credits music hit me harddddd
@@davidza2887 Emotion is a beautiful thing. This game has made a lot of people better people. Also, in theme with season two, cherish your teen years. They are the best, but maybe not too much. Don't get too attached to anything, because then you can't really appreciate it. When you can enjoy a moment and then allow it to pass, that is the best way to live.

I was really sad since minecraft story mode, both of the games were shut down.. but, I’m still happy we got a full story.
I really wish Antimo and Welles bought telltale games, they would have brought back one of the games that they used their great art in.

to quote jason schreier, games are made by people not companies. we need the original team to make it, not some company trying to cash in. so it's not gonna happen. or happen in a way that will make you happy. best you can do is support former telltale devs new projects elsewhere. that WILL make you happy

I'm sad that there won't be a continuation of this masterpiece. This game gave me the best emotions, helped me become bolder, and start seeing the best in people. Thank you as musicians who helped me find a way to my emotions through song. Hearing this song I smile like a child and cry like I saw an old friend, I never thought that I could feel so many emotions from one song.

what a bittersweet way to end season two and the whole series.. it's october 2020, yet i'm still coming back to this masterpiece to reminisce of one of my childhood favorites. i never imagined minecraft to be interpreted this way. and the soundtracks make the game waaaayyy better. your team did a very amazing job making them !!
