I love how the RUclips algorithm often finds videos that you subconsciously needed. I wrote down in my journal last night “maybe I should go on a walk tomorrow” I woke up and changed my mind; more important things to do like washing and random projects I’m working on. This video pops up and reminds me of how much I love walking. Thank you!

I can't express how much your content means to me bro. I've started my journey to become a nurse recently, and last summer I started working as a CNA. Your videos have been incredibly helpful to me not just with nursing, but with lifestyle outside of work as well.

I prioritize walking 4 times a week (avg 1 1/2 hrs each time) and getting quality sleep (avg 7.5 hours). The days I don’t walk or get some kind of equivalent exercise my sleep suffers. Really great video presentation! Like to see one on the health benefits of sleep? 💯👍

Walking has done so much for me both mentally and physically!!!!!Your recommendation of getting the Macro Factor app really opened my eyes to what I was putting in my body. Thank you also for answering all my random questions! Ok Juicy, we are down 20 pounds, let’s shoot for 20 more!!!!!!

@@JayFriedrichs like 8 to 10k steps. I rather do sprints. Or hoop. Or ride my road bike. I also regularly train jiujitsu and that also drains hiiit cardio. And the jiujitsu is most helpful than steps cuz the brain is in a learning mode and sparring sessions require focus on moment and brearh and quiet off all noise. The brain gotta be learning something applying reflecting adjusting etc. It cant stay stagnant. Lite aerobic like walking or cycling can be good for mental clarity and zoneing as well

I don't know about that. I have 60h manual labor job, average about 17k steps, and still carry +25 bf, eating 2-2,4k calories. Don't have good physique nor clear thoughts

@@antiteros stressful life, poor sleep counteracts and disrupts all of your hormones. When working long hours good diet decisions are harder to make, and it’s natural to succumb to gas station / restaurant food or easy meals at home that pack in way more calories then we think. Need accurate calorie tracking. Vicious cycle of overeating just even a bit over time compounds. This plus poor sleep and stress and not loving working this long will deteriorate mental health. There’s a lot to unpack here that’s a lot deeper than your step count.
