The fact that your not tell the how or about anything but having him help and include him will make a life long mark on that kid you all rock
Nice job getting the little guy in on it. he will remember that forever.
I can’t believe yall cut that with scissors BEAST MODE
Big Menards guy!
Huge
Staggering seams helps strengthen connections. Long seams are more likely to pop apart and separate. Other then that the flooring looks sweet guys!!
Gotcha
So cool seeing my town on RUclips.
@ MinnDak Outdoors, I think when is all and done you should take that little guy out fishing and make a video of that trip. Have a catch and cook with him as well. You will make him a fisherman for life. But take him where there is action so he won't get bored but have fun. I know there are a lot of bluegill lakes all over or perch lakes. Just make sure he has fun. Oh ya make sure you take Owen lol.
I am not sure if anyone has mentioned it. But something I love to use for organizing and keeping things off the floor and out of the way is pegboard. They have plastic ones on Amazon. You can customize it any way you want. And you can keep changing it based on what you want/need You can put it wherever. Ceiling or walls. I have seen people tie bungee cord in to use the for storing rod/reels.
Guys, you did a nice job on the floor. You're lucky to have good friends to give you someplace to work on it.
That’s Ong
I'm so glad you staggered the floor boards. The floor will last a lot longer and provide a stronger floor. Looks great guys!
Thank you
Should of used the rubberized flooring. It's water proof and so easy to wipe clean and drys super fast. It's also alot easier to install and there's great traction even when wet and it's never slippery. I have it in my Glacier. I wouldn't have a wheelhouse without it.
Use a heater of some type like a hair dryer to heat up planks and it makes it easy to cut.
You see homie putting his hand above his little brothers head so he doesn't hit it on the bar. Good guy, my brother would've let me clock myself on the bar lol
Nice to see you made it to Marshall Minnesota
Using the colonizers as free labor was great
Shoutout to Owen and the brohams. Coming in clutch with the help!
Facts!
Very nice video, it's amazing I didn't see one beer can in the video....good job. Looking forward to see who catches the first fish in the house. Maybe you should have some sort of contest to see who catches the first fish.
Love the little guy he is going to be a worker
Facts
Enjoyed watching you fix up the ice house.
Looking good ., thanks for some ideas
Keep up the great work
Aye!!!! Solid!!!!
Those planks will pop up with the temp swing . Rolled vinyl is the way to go for ice houses.
Gooooooooooddddddddddd
@@MinnDakOutdoors it'll be fine.. just keep it wiped down.. it will last you longer than you'll own that house.
You should put that bed on a hinge so you can flip it up out of the way and make more room when you're not sleeping.
Good idea
love watching the progress!
HELL YA!! Keep up the hard work boys can't wait to see the vids in the new shack!
Nice set up!
Thanks
Good job boys, looking forward to the next part of the renovations👍
Gotta put them young’ing to work fellas. Good job
Keep it coming. Get BW on some ice trailer content!

I'm putting that kind of flooring in mine next year. We have 10 year old brown ASTRO turf in it now.
Ayeeeee
The staggering is important. It's not about the looks it's about building a sustainable flooring. Follow the directions or you will be sorry. Also, take the time to let it acclimate to the installation environment. It's engineered to move with the given climactic environmental changes. It will expand and contract accordingly.
Do cedar walls
That floor's looking good. If you decide to secure it in place (you will probably never have to) just use a big old staple gun and send a staple into each corner, then one or two down the middle. That or Old Skool it and use a bag full of tacks and a hammer. Again, you probably will never have to.
When you get into the solar setup - check out "DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse" here on the tubes. He only does videos about solar power for RVs etc. He even has a book you can get for about $10 that has excellent instructions and diagrams. He explains everything in simple terms and walks you through every step of the process.
Seriously look at getting and installing some fire extinguishers and/or fire blankets. I've seen a few devestating cabin/boat/caravan/trailer fires that could have been put out right quick with a small extinguisher.
Keep it rolling lads. Loving it.
Thank you
Good start.👍
Thanks
I seen u today in Ellendale Minnesota
I was on a snowmobile crossing the highway
Glad you ended up staggering it, because having four corners come together from not staggering it wouldn't be great!
I love your content ❤
Nice work boys!
Appreciate that
You should add wooden pine panels to the walls.
The floor looks good
Thank you
You should paint the walls gry and trim black.
Put that young boy in more of your vids....... he's awsome.
Tru
Keep up the great work boys, road to 300k🔥 so proud if how far u boys are making it
Ayeee thanks
Guys, Looking great !!! I'd recommend these as potential interior wall paneling (both available at Menards);
- PLAS-TEX® Polywall™ 4' x 8' Matte White Plastic Interior Wall Panel
- 4' x 8' White Shiplap Wall Panel
Both great products that will go well with your flooring choice and will brighten the inside of your fish house
Thank you!
Wow nice minndak
Hey right on
Don't even need the shanty boys you work like them lol
I saw you guys in runnings in Marshall the other day with knocker

Very nice! looks like it's coming along great, is the Ice strong enough to sustain the weight? nice flooring, thanks for sharing.
Owen looks like David Harbour
I hope you have sufficient ice for such a heavy ice house.Be care , be safe out there!
Thanks
Seen you guys drive thru marshall MN n honked
Syeee
can you do a video that explains how the house gets lowered at the wheels, I have a shack that I bought but it's not on a trailer and want to set up something similar to this
Boys you gotta take that floor trim off first and put your vinyl a 1/8 inch or so from the wall so it doesn’t buckle. Then lay your trim back on top of it to cover up the small gaps. It’ll work the way it is though so no worries. Looks very nice!
Awwww thanks
Also congrats
Sad to see you guys didn't prepare a space for the trusty ol port o john.
Flooring looks good but you are going to have trouble with plank flooring over time. It’s not truly waterproof because of all the seams. It is also going to contract and expand with the changes in temperature, which is going to allow moisture to sneak in all those seams. Fish house manufacturers use sheet vinyl for a reason.
Gotcha thanks
You should paint the inside of the shack a grey or white to go with the floors and get rid of that ugly orange wood color.
I agree
Switch out that heater for a diesel heater
I would love that
@@MinnDakOutdoors u can get a kit to make one and they’re pretty compact just have a spot built for it on the front
There is a lot of half moons in this video
Fly me out I’ll get you right!
I would change the lights out to LED. Is there an inverter or anything or are you going to power with the Jackery?
Good idea! And yes
I wonder if any flooring guys flipped their lids watching this? You might have avoided some cuts or skinny pieces by snapping lines, starting in the center, and then working your way out from there. Hard to tell watching the video if it would have made a difference. Looks like it still worked out, and that is what matters.
What do you guys use for a camera setup? Looking to start film our hunts but have no idea where to start
I use a Sony A6600
You need to stagger the flooring!!!
Save big money at menards…
Would definitely stagger them since yer not using glue.
❤️👊💪🎣
Need hole lights
good choice to stagger the floor.. that’s where it get it’s strength
Bet
Looks good gotta get a TV on a wall in there game system for slow days

BOB THE BUILDER
BW the ditcher
@@MinnDakOutdoors sorry I was busy breaking wings
What about the lights brotha😂
It will get done
What are you naming it
I will announce it soon
Well it's not hunting but 👍
Little brother almost broke his neck to see what you were calling boob lights.
You guys really need to do something to the walls they look old and out dated!!
Bet we can do that just for you
@@MinnDakOutdoors
Nice brother what are you guys gonna do to the walls?
Please don't use plank flooring it will pop in a ice shack
All that time lapse Sam could've told a joke or two... rip-off 👍
😂
Cringe. This is my profession. 8" minimum for staggering. One seem across the middle it will separate when driving and temp can't be below freezing temperatures. Seems will pop. Sheet vinyl glued down is what you will want to do in a year's time. At the end of the day it's just a fish house. Love the videos. Tight lines .
Haha
I do flooring for a living you’ll wanna stagger otherwise it’ll all come apart at the seams
Gotcha
