As a 53 year old Korean-American, I really need to work on my Korean vocabulary after watching this video. Enjoyed watching the effort of the three guests. Thanks!
Elliot!!! We’re so happy to see you again!!! You are missed. When you don’t upload, it’s always a treat to see you pop up on Karat or on various other YT channels. Maybe you’ll shock us by appearing in some K-Drama …or an Asian American drama or something on Netflix. Whatever you decide, hope you are well and happy.
As a Korean American myself, I have to say I am quite shocked that they know so little of their parent's mother tongue. Like it almost seems as though they strictly only spoke english to their parents growing up.
I don't speak Korean, but the guy in the black shirt was hilarious. the way he said shut the f**k up is more like he slams the toilet door when someone accidentally opens it
Bruh I’m surprised Elliot is the best despite being from a mostly white state most people of Asian descent from white dominated states usually just speak English
@@alandeutsch9987 i think most japanese americans are either too many generations in and don't speak any japanese at all, or speak it decently well. it'll be hard for it to be interesting lol
They are Korean-Americans who grew up or were born in the US or Britan. They had formal education there, so no formal Korean education. Learning the language from parents is limiting and often not enough to be proficient or fluent. Many parents never even bothered to teach their children and many children didn't care to learn.
That's definitely not true 😅😂 You can pick things up, for sure, but building entire sentences that are grammatically correct off of just watching a kdrama? Absolutely not.
I laughed my ass off when Elliott said phenomenon in a Konglish way. He won the show doing that seriously lol
that's not elliot lmao
*Adam
This series is so funny, Adam's answers were so funny
This is like my favorite series
💯💯💯💯💯👍😀

I love this series, I’m hoping for more parts of the Korean and Chinese one 🙏🏼
I love using these videos to practice my Korean. Everyone did a wonderful job! ...And I think I passed too. 😎😉
Definitely don’t use these to study lol
@@ehong671Lol Right!!! 😂
It would be helpful if the Korean who is proficient would let them and us know the correct/more suitable answer.
ngl elliot sounds so different speaking korean HAHAHA he sounds so much younger idk why
We need a Filipino version of this! 🇵🇭
Would love more of these😄😄
Some of these points were really generous 😅
watching this video was quite the confidence booster
Damn it makes me feel good that my Korean was better than all three of them 😂. I guess those 4 years if studying have paid off
elliot choy?? Ariana what are u doing here?
As a half Korean I’m suddenly feeling much better about my Korean-speaking ability! 🤣 (I’m awful btw)
Tell Elliot to upload a new YT video asap
I think this series is great Because in order to learn you must keep speaking the language
As a Korean American myself, I have to say I am quite shocked that they know so little of their parent's mother tongue. Like it almost seems as though they strictly only spoke english to their parents growing up.
“Give me pepper” Damn you did him dirty 😂
You should make them write next time. It’ll be funny to see how they try to spell 떡볶이
WHY IS ADAM GETTING ALL THE HARD QUESTIONS LMAOOOO
I challenge Elliot to do a video of speaking Korean for 24 hours. ❤
I love this but if i ever have children I'm going to MAKE SURE they absolutely know all of the languages I know.
not the gochu juseyo 😭😭 HAHA ㅋㅋ

Answer: God…. Automatic point👏🤣
I don't speak Korean, but the guy in the black shirt was hilarious. the way he said shut the f**k up is more like he slams the toilet door when someone accidentally opens it

i think there's not as many japanese americans in america
@@alandeutsch9987 i think most japanese americans are either too many generations in and don't speak any japanese at all, or speak it decently well. it'll be hard for it to be interesting lol
@@alandeutsch9987 True. And most of them are in Hawaii and they are now 4th 5th generation
It’s best with Chinese cuz there’s too many people of Japanese decent who don’t speak the language even those who are 1st gen
@@cassiopeia309yep I knew even a 1st gen who didn’t speak it and his mom was Japanese

But Adam is my favorite.
Why is this so funny
I laughed throughout, but Adam would make me look silly. My Korean fucking sucks :(
This is like basic Korean for kids translated to hard English then given as test lol

Someone watching a couple of k dramas can answer all of these questions. No cap, their Korean is very bad
i dont watch kdrama and i think i can answer half of those vocab questions by simply answering back in english.
