Each letter is one unit besides letters such as i,l, m,w, etc. they will vary. This is why practicing will help you. If you’re referring to the kerning or sos d between the letters, that is up to you, but remember to keep it consistent throughout.

Just one thing when you was doing the capitals is the g a small one or is that what the capital one looks like too?
I prefer to do my capital ‘G’s similar to the lowercase style. It’s just a design choice. Experiment with both until you find the one you like.
