Day in the Bog - snippet happy Birthday to John Murtagh

Had the pleasure of the Day in the Bog yesterday with the Clondra Festival. Tea, coffee, beers and cider, scones and boxty and good company where could you go wrong, and a 90th Birthday celebrant John Murtagh. Anytime I go near a bog I always bump into a Lennon, have to have your wits about you with them lads, all great banter. There was a guess the amount of turf competition with all proceeds going to the local Tidy towns Group, I did not see who won it but many were waiting to find out
