Mugen and Afro actors were amazing, but honestly, character wise, Fuu's actress was the most on-point. Props to them all and thank you for this piece. It was FANTASTIC!!!!!
The ending scene is kind of ridiculously accurate. "You ain't nothing without Momo!" "You ain't nothing without me!". Fuu is what made Mugen become a man in Samurai Champloo. Gave him purpose and a reason to come back to life. Twice.

The director didn't care about the universe of Dragonball. All he was after was a big payday. He even admits this some time after the movie was made and he regretted it.
Because Hollywood thinks they can tell these stories "BETTER" Its all about getting people who actually respect the source material and want to make a great movie instead of getting D rank writers and directors

The edit. Afro's super curve katana. Mugen's breakdance fight style. The beatbox rapper bandits... holy shit people, that's a really friking awesome fanmovie . Got the essence of both series really really well, congrats.
This is incredible. Anyone who dislikes this can try and make one better. Animation gives you limitless creativity, you can have camera angles at any position at any given time, as many objects in frame as you want, characters with detailed expressions, can perform any action, clear notable voices and personalities, as many colors you can see, ANYTHING. Adapting that to real life looks very timestaking, requires Editing with great software and equipment, dedication from actors and so on. I think these guys did an amazing job with what they had and who they were working with. I hope to see more of this
