  • You can tell from the interview I am gushing for this amazing car. Truly the last of the wedge shaped design language supercars had from the 80s/90s. John is a well-collected man describing his love for this Esprit and advice for maintaining a low-production model car.
Always looking for fun and enthusiastic people to speak to. I have a ton of questions for the long form interview or short and simple questions for the quickness. Don't be afraid to come and find me!

Love the Esprit, but I'd have to take the spoiler off.

I’ve owned 11 lotuses! including a 98 V-8. you gentlemen have to state the truth this is the most fun reliable car in the world. even the Lotus Cars with the Japanese drivetrain the trim breaks constantly! Lotus stands and will always stand for lots of trouble usually serious! you guys are misleading the populace. it’s a beautiful card but it does not function well! with the new Lotus Evora,Elise,& Exige lots of trouble usually terribly annoying and unbearable! as a productive businessman you can’t be driving a car that the air conditioning the best case scenario minimize a sweating !

That's why I definitely wanted to get an owner's perspective and with John owning an early 2000s Lotus I wanted to ask him that tough question about sourcing parts and reliability/driveability. In my personal opinion, I would want a Lotus as a secondary car for sure. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Is parts really really had to find?

I'm hoping any Lotus owners could answer. Particularly with sourcing/wait times?

Poor choice of videography. So unfortunate that they weren't able to show the true beauty of a classic sports car.
