I have that entire top end on my 94 and she rips. Cam, heads, upper, lower, intake spacer. Also has svo roller rockers, 24lb injectors, full length bbk's, pro m mass air, cold air kit, flowmaster full kit minus cats, 4:10's in the rear, t-5, and she surprises allot of newer cars. Most fun car to drive ive ever owned. Oh and summit billet distributer, my stock one the pickup coil fell apart inside. Mine had real bad hunting issues until i put in a new mass air and took off a faulty msd coil and put a new motorcraft coil back on it. Ngk plugs and motorsports wires. And of course the 255 walbro in the tank.
Thats the perfect most fun fox body set up you can do i hate coyote swaps pushrod
Only in fox low end torque is where the funs At id rather ls a fox then coyote it because pushrod is way more compact
More low end torque easier and way cheaper to work on and I’m ford guy but ls is by far the best bang for the buck availability and readily available parts second to none. Facts are facts ford Guy or not. Facts not feelings.
The GT is such a gorgeous car
every time i see an lx,i superimpose the gt bumpers on,etc! i can't wait to sell my z06 and grab my first gt convertible!
My definition of the perfect car just enough modifications we definitely put LX tail lights if I won the lottery first thing I do is drop a car off see you guys along with a blank check
I've driven coyotes and there nice drivers and make good power. Also comparing my experience with thoes cars to my notch with the nice street N/A combo that I've built for it I don't feel where I'm missing out on not owning a coyote. For some reason people either forget the capability of a nice Windsor build or underestimate our cars with them pushrod engines. These cars with a nice well thought-out pushrod combo are still gapping people on the streets even in today's performance climate.
the old 302 is nasty... I had a 86 5.0 gt fbo 4.10 gears she was quick
Sbf pushrod!!!!
Momma says he’s angry cuz he gots all them powers and no traction.
Very nice. Very nice indeed
Glad you got it figured out 👍
Gonna make someone a fun little street car.
Glad i found this channel love the old fox bodies! This white fox rips! Hope to see more of this fox!
Jeff Goss. check out 50tussin on RUclips. also brew2L
Alan Davis ok thanks
A coyote swap would’ve been the best thing to ever happen to that camaro 😁
I like to see that to
Amazing how you NEVER see that....
💯
@@pagosplace3065 amazing
Matt birk without intelligence
Oh I can't wait to take mine out in the late spring... Cheers from Canada
Sounds pretty good thanks for the update. You guys just gave it another 100k miles of fun
Sounds like she is pulling pretty good for sure, them dry rotted tires will have you facing where you just came from, lol.
Stang turned out awesome! Cold air and a cold road makes for no traction but a lot of fun 👍
Love the white GT, had one like it, but got totaled out, keep the drivetrain...blueprinted & balanced 302 w/GT40P heads, E303 can, GT40 Intake, really strong above idle. Also have a 95 Cobra...would like to see a 6R80 or 10R80 mated to a SBF in a Fox or 95 Mustang. Adapters and controllers are available
Sounds sick! 93' Reef blue notch 5 speed in progress.
How can you not have fun with a fox? Beautiful cars and so fun to be around mustang guys.
Is there a video of putting the top end kit together ? This is my next move on my 89 Gt
Nice I have a 5.0 sn 95 only 80ths on it love these cars old muscle cars love working on them.
Guy has one down the street just sitting in his lot next to his place and won't sell it. Love the GT
Love those old 🦊 bodies!!
That's all my car has is Trick flow heads stage 1 cam performer RPM intake 70 mm accufab throttle body 76 mm BBK MAF long tubes with 373 gears with t5 trans and Dyno tune not tones of power but tones of fun for a street car.
Travis Evans makes a very fun street car. I have the same setup I wish I had 3.55 gear vs the 3.73
@@dangerousfreedom4965 I kind of do to. If you want to do a burnout you have to use second gear because you're bouncing off the rev-limiter immediately in first and very little smoke but 2nd plenty of smoke.
Only ended up using 373 because everybody said it will work better for the quarter mile and I don't even drag race it.
Travis Evans
I had practically the same setup in my ‘89 Fox but with 4:10 gears. Figured about 300 to the wheels & it was definitely a fun car to drive on the street. Hated the 4.10’s though & will be going to a 3.55.
@@Multi68stang yeah that's about what mine has right around 300 had it dyno tuning I think it was 292 hp 305 tq I don't necessarily hate the 373 could just be better with 355 on the street
I had a few mustangs like that. All of them manual, carb and built to race. Wish I still had at least one of them
The only tway she smokes now is by burning the tires! 😁
Sounds like a fun car. Looks like a fun car too.
Wow! She’s looking and running great!
GREAT BUILD YOU GUYS !!!!!EXCITED ABOUT THE SHOW!!!!!!!
Nice and stout indeed!!! Love it!
That top end kit is great.
Lol I don't think there is room in a 4th gen for a coyote shit you can hardly change the spark plugs with a ls1
Totally agree! And the Camaro here is an LT1 so it’s even worse than an LS1. I’ve had both and in my opinion the LT1 is even tighter than the LS1. Its a real knuckle shredding experience to do a simple plug swap!
The LT1 is still a nice motor. People are still using that as well as the Windsor engine family.
Erik Turner Yes. I had a 93’ Z28 and even stock that thing was lots of fun. Also a very sweet sounding engine! Haha loved it!
Erik Turner lt1 is fine when working good and not leaking like a basket, that optispark shit blowsss
Run the same combo in my 🦊. It isn't the fastest car on the street but def one of the funnest to drive.
too bad he didnt tell us the cost.
I’m about to build a 302 for my 77 maverick
The force is strong with thus one👌🏾😎😍
Maybe put the build in the description? Are the heads 170s or 190s?
Do you answer questions regarding issues we may have with our foxes? You seem to know you stuff. 👍🏻
ARTURO After install my idle gets stuck at a high rpm and will not come down, sometimes I have to turn it off then on again. That happens even while driving. I’ve adjusted timing nothing seems to help.
It was just 20 below zero here in Anchorage Alaska for 2 weeks straight lol
Good run for BREW2L
TFS has been making foxes fly since the Fox came out. Proven performance...
Am I the only one who thinks a coyote swapped early 3rd gen Camaro would be badass?
If that car got you to school girl giggle then you know it'll put a smile on anyone's face!!!! Luvin it bro!😁👊👍
I need a Fox Body Mustang. May is my deadline.
Just wait for the right deal. You’ll find it.
For sure!
Mine surged at idle like that too with older gas in it. Couple tanks of fresh gas and the surging stopped.
Walmart sponsoring you guys with those never start batteries???? Got em!
That baby rips!
Great pulls man 💪👍
My buddies convertible Fox is running down coyotes with only bolt ons and a gear lol. He’s getting a built rear and and head cams setup next.
Did you have to do any kind of tune to it to get it to run good ?
170cc heads?
Rite on bro i wish my vert was running like that
I thought you did change the plugs good to see it was a easy fix
Y’all got it running real good
Camaros always make great boat ankers.
I promise you if he did the same mods on that camaro it would absolutely whoop that foxs ass
@@konnerkramer329 it is also a LT or LS which is more cubic inches and newer than the windsor V8... not only that its expensive for parts and shit to work on
@@Theydotheharlemshake ls engines are literally the most popular engine for hot rodding because they're cheap and easy to work on...
@@konnerkramer329 ...not in the camaro it isn't. everything is a knuckle buster in the fourth gen camaros. and it is expensive for the LT4 or whatever it is called in that car
@@Theydotheharlemshake have you even seen the sn95, new edege and s197 mustangs... You have to pull the engine to change header gaskets... In a s197 a header swap is a 15-20 hour job done by a shop. Let alone by a couple of buddies having a few drink in a garage. You can do a cam, heads and intake swap on a Camaro without even taking the engine out. And btw it's an lt1 and parts are a hell of a lot cheaper than any ford modular motor
There goes my credit card was debating on the trickflow heads and this made my mind up
MSD 6AL w 8874 cures those plug/ bad gas problems. JMO😎
Needs a filter on there before you try to diad the surge! Unstable air across maf will have it hunting!
Definitely
Needs 8" of straight tube ahead of MA.
i love the tach and shift lite, that would definitely stay if it were mine.
Running fantastic he says but it hunka surge and surging sometimes yeah you make sense obviously it's not running perfect if it surges sometimes smarten up!
Man if I had the money I would buy this white FoxBody 5.0 for sure.
Awesome video...what do you think she makes at the tires? Looks like a extremely fun street car. Nice work guys.
im considering a trick flow stage 1 cam, rockers, springs, exhaust, light port and polish on heads and a tune for my mountaineer 5.0.
I entertained the idea of a Trick Flow top end kit actually but damn......$2500 or so? lol
ALOT more than that!!!!! that wont even buy you the heads.
I thought 1988 and before foxbodys didnt have a mass air...? I own an 89 with maf
California 5.0s had a factory mass air meter in 1988
seeing this sure makes me miss my artic 88 gt hatchback, some douche stole it in Dallas a few years back found a few days later stripped to the chassis
Runs good! Stock tune?
I currently have trickflow track heat top end kit, what would be great with this kit? 331 stroker kit or 347 stroker kit. What upgrades will i have to add/change if i go 331 or 347. Currently i am on stock 302 block with track heat top end kit 24lb injection I/H/E i made 300hp to the wheels “safe tune”
Need to find yourself an old school pneumatic abrasive plug cleaner.
If nothing else it adds a tool..
Love mine.
I know this was a while ago but this kit says 360 horsepower so at the wheels say 300 using 24# injectors guessing. Question is what is the next step after (H C I) combo that would need to use say 30# injectors and 400 at the wheels? The combo that when it starts or drive by you can fell it or make you turn your head and say what under that hood? A push road motor that is without blower or turbo.
Could i install this kit on my 5.0 95 f150?
Sounds good, is there any car more fun than a fox, prolly not
Yup sn95
@@Dannyjoemustanggt still technically a fox under all that sheet metal
We should really do a 3.5 eco in that camaro. Lol
That setup seems healthy. What’s the cost of the upper n lower? I recently bought a explorer intake from a swap meet 75$ hard to pass up. Nothing like what you have but an upgrade from stock. I also bought a a9l in perfect condition for 30$ great deal.. I’d like to see what 1/4time your gt would get. I got a 14.2 98 with stock gears heads cam intake few basic bolt ons with a street tires and a shitty trak lok. Upgrading to a Yukon true trak 31 splines 3.73-4.10’s not sure yet and j have race slicks also with the explorer intake I’m trying to be a mid 13 second pass.. do you ever hit up fun ford event @ dinwiddie va. It’s mid June?
Did you need to do anything for fuel management, like a Megasquirt or bigger injectors or anything???
Did he say anywhere if this is on a stock ECU/tune?
tire frying is f u n!!! awesome machine!
Great vid nice power ...!! Get some mercury combustion deposit cleaner put some on the plugs an leave in a jar with lid over night plugs will be like new in AM save som bucks outboard master mech tricks
What would be the power difference between a TF and GT-40?
Noticeable above 5500
This tfs top end kit. Does it have the 170cc 11r heads?
Have you done a coyote swap on an early foxbody? Like '79-'83 ish T bird or Fairmont or even a Lincoln maybe?
How do you feel about blueprint engines crate motor if your stock 302 is done for??? Anybody?
I'm wondering the same thing...
What part of Tennessee you guys at? I’m about an hour East of Knoxville. Just took a 302 out of an ‘83 and about to put a whole new Ford Racing Block and all the bells and whistles and own a DSG ‘03 Mach 1.
Nice little car
Do you do any work on the car or are spoke person
What did you do to lower end?
Since you did this one, how is it now? Did it have a gear?
What gears is it running??? Runs like a beast.
What did you have the timing set at?
Sounds AWSOME 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Car sounds good
What did y’all finally set the timing at?
Eddie Sellers I was going to ask the same thing hopefully he replies.. I’m thinking 14
All the fox bodies I've had never liked the cold air intake. It caused idle problems and misfire sometimes.
This kit is sold out EVERYWHERE
Is there a standard push rod length on a non decked roller 302 block using twisted wedge heads?
By the way..what paint did you use, the black?
Update on the turbo’d white fox body?
in my opinion these motors sound the best and this is probably an unpopular opinion but i dont really like the sound of the coyote and to me it sounds just like any other of the newer v8s out there today.
Was the car tuned after the top end install? Also a that the stock bottom end?
What size heads, I have TFS 205cc with the TFS track heat plenum and 1 inch spacer but the previous owner went with a comp cams .544/560 cam is this good or should I change out the cam?
what else is done to the car performace wise?
What did you do about the throttle body ? Was it stock with a spacer or something other?
Yes turbo noise
I have a 93 bronco I want to swap it over to mass air. So I can do some upgrades to the motor it is currently a SD 5.8 with an E4OD trans. Where can I find some info on the computer and harness for the swap
The same kit I have on my notch. What size injectors were used in this build?
Could y'all put a coyote in a 1957 chevy.
What gears do you think it has? I like my 3.08s but need 3.73s with my 2.95 first gear in the t5z
