Social Value - Part 3 - Loyd Davies - May 2023 ConneXions live event

The biz4Biz ConneXions event on Social Value was a live, in person event. The speaker Loyd Davies spoke on the topic of "Encouraging sustainable and active travel".
Loyd founded ElectrAssure in 2004, specialising in energy management and renewables including solar PV. In 2013, an increasing interest and conviction in the role that could be played by electric vehicles in tackling climate change motivated Loyd to establish ElectrAssure as one of the very early entrants in electric vehicle charging in the UK.
Social value refers to the positive impact an organization or an activity has on society and the broader community. It encompasses the social, environmental, and economic benefits generated by an organization beyond its immediate financial gains. The concept of social value recognises that organisations should strive to contribute to the well-being of society and address societal needs and challenges.
