Hello Friends !!!
In this Video I am gonna show you "How To Make Bridge Rectifier At Home " . Its Very easy to make Bridge Rectifier at home by using few electric components . I have made this homemade Bridge Rectifier a Removable Bridge Rectifier. Actually we use Bridge Rectifier to convert AC current into Dc current while using any step down transformer . So i have made this Removable Homemade Bridge Rectifier for Multipurpose use and we can use it anywhere by just unplugging it and plugging again.
I have used PVC Pipe for making this homemade bridge rectifier and some diodes and capacitor . The build quality of this homemade Bridge Rectifier is very good and You can use it for drawing DC current upto 35 V and 3 A . This homemade bridge rectifier is very light weight and compact .
The thighs i used for making this Bridge Rectifier are easily available.
The Things I Used :
1. IN5408 Diode (4 Pieces)
2. 35V 4700uF Capacitor
3. DC Socket
4. Connecting Wires
5. PVC Pipe (3cm Diameter)

105 j non polar capacitor in parallel to 1 mega ohm 1/4 W resistor....one end of it to ac phase(live wire),other end to a point of the bridge rectifier where cathode and anode meet,another similar point of bridge rectifier to neutral of ac preferably via a 100 ohm 2 W fusible resistance,where two siver ends meet in the rectifier,that end is output dc +, where two black ends meet,it is output dc -.......connect a 1000 microfarad 50 V electrolytic capacitor to the dc output seeing + and minus....connect a 12 V 1 W zener in case you require 12 V,but best is to use 7812 ic with heat sink(pin 1 input,pin 2 ground,pin 3 output)....ensure that the free end of 105 receives phase,not neutral,otherwise output will give ac shock
