I've been going back and forth between these two lenses, but still cannot find enough reason to sell my 14mm 2.8L II. It's simply too incredible when using for architecture and landscape.

Do you by any chance sometimes get black bands in your photo?
do you have an instagram? I would love to see some of the architecture images etc.
I just got mine a couple weeks ago and while it's not cheap it is a pretty amazing lens. Decently fast, light, compact and sooo wide.
I've used the 11-24 and it's a great lens as well, it goes quite a bit wider and zooms to 24 as well. It is big and heavy and a stop slower however. I'd still love to have one but for now at least I'm more than happy with the 14 vII

Been looking at this lens for a duel purpose landscape and indoor event photography, this review convinced me to get it and you have another subscriber. The Airplane photo's are pretty awesome!

I have the Canon 11-24mm and love it for interior work as well as outside in tight spaces. For example, it was the perfect lens for Venice, Italy due to the limited space between the buildings.

How different is the bokeh on 14mm f2.8 and 11-24mm f4
Depends how close you are to your subject.
I would say it matters more during low light situations than in real bokeh shot situations during daylight.
