Unfortunately, some people need to learn the hard way. OP's parents spent 18+ years treating Lisa as if the sun shined out of her ass, and this is exactly why she keeps pushing her luck.

Since you're in the US and Lisa is a danger to others you can have her involuntarily committed with a court order. Your parents already have proof of her violent outbursts with the police reports. I have no sympathy for them however because they created this monster themselves. If at any point they had treated your sister as a normal child with normal boundaries and expectations none of this might have happened. Her being treated as a "miracle child" that could do no wrong her entire life absolutely ruined her and now their finally seeing the results now that it effects them. Even if Lisa gets proper mental health I'm not sure how well she'll do in the world since it seems like she has no job, no marketable skills, and only the basics of an education. By placing her on a pedestal your parents have set her up to fail miserably.
