And you know Johnathan is probably telling EVERYBODY he knows about his crazy ex and her parents and how they abused Op, and how lucky he was not to marry into that.
It's Sad how ppl are so use to abusing u that they forget to be fake nice infront of others 😅karma I've had some ex friends lose relationships and family members over talking trash behind my back after claiming i was a best friend and not having a reason to be mean. They were just jealous like this sister 😅
The parents are bullies, who raised a bully like them. OP should be happy she's not like them. Being the scapegoat atleast has some advantage in that regard. You atleast get to be recognize their awful behaviour and be a good person.
“Emily’s always lived in her own world.” Exactly. She couldn’t understand the fact that she wasn’t the center of the universe for someone that she really cared about. Children can never truly have an equal relationship with their parents, and she alienated and abused the one person who could have been her equal. Her fiancee evidently DID NOT want a piece of that action.
Absolutely! Emily’s world seemed to revolve around herself, and it’s wild how that mindset ended up costing her so much. Jonathan probably saw those red flags and ran for the hills - who could blame him? It’s amazing how Michelle stood her ground through it all. Do you think Emily will ever wake up to the reality she created, or is she too far gone in her “me-first” mentality?
@@RedditFamilyTales She’ll probably move past it eventually. But she’ll have to have a bigger wake-up call. Like not having anyone outside of her parents or getting in serious trouble with the law. Something tells me there’s more to her behavior than what Michele sees.

It makes sense that an "outsider" like Johnathan would see how OP was treated and reconsider being a part of the family. Most people wouldn't want to marry someone who mistreats a sibling or family member for no reason. It's just a shame anyone would listen to this story and either victim blame OP or side with Emily for just having a conversation with Johnathan 🤦🏽♂️ (also the theory that Johnathan loved OP: if that was true he would've reconnected with OP after breaking off the engagement). Also the social anxiety and OP's behavior makes sense since the family have always been bullies. hey, this video was really captivating, and I appreciate the perspective shared. but I have to say, I wonder if the sister's decision is a bit over the top. I mean, relationships can be complicated, but banning family seems extreme, doesn't it? what if the fiancé genuinely sees the sister as a sister? it just feels like there might be more going on behind the scenes.

I don’t understand these stories. They start with, there was nothing wrong we were not just close. We had different interests and blah blah blah. Then after telling the drama, they start with the whole shitload of bullying n basically neglect by their parents. Like what the hell happened to there was nothing wrong between us.
My thought too, how she describes the disconnect with her family, the anxiety and all, sounds very much like an autistic kid in a neurotypical family that choses to alienate them.
being kind to people means they have a feelings for them? as if he didn't see it as "oh she's going to be my family one day so I'll treat her like a sister too"? or did you not think that perhaps he just wanted nothing to do with someone who is capable of hurting and abusing her own family?
Emily likely thought the OP was trying steal her boyfriend because the anti-social, never leaves her room or talks to people, OP was happily chatting and eagerly interacting with Jonathan, when she has never behaved that way with any other guest, ever, and usually avoids guests like the plague. OP's responses to her sister's accusations are weird and dismissive, and likely escalated everything. Like claiming that this dude she ONE TIME "trusts her" more than his girlfriend/fiancee? Finally, what sort of medication is she on that someone with severe, diagnosed, social anxiety is totally fine and calm after her entire social network of extended family and acquaintances turns on her? And then she starts getting stalked/ harassed? And then has to go through an entire lawsuit, against her family, all while losing freelance jobs? That has got to be some seriously strong stuff. I get that she feels bullied and, yes, Emily definitely went too far in the end, but the OP honestly sounds like a bit of an insufferable twit.
They no doubt are an attention seeking narcissists and another golden child who can only see the world through their perspective. No ability to feel empathy.
.... Op did not sound anti social though, she sounded like she gave up after getting pushed away all the time and he just happened to be the only decent person in their vecinity inyeracting normal with her. Yeah, I would also be desmissiv and find the acusation hilarious that talking like normal people made that sister insanly and irrationally jalouse.... Like my brother likes when I and his girlfriends get along, even through he and I are not close... What was she supposed to do? Cover and appologise cause she did polite conversation with the only person not scapegoating her? There is no reason to play into her sisters paranoia

great video, really enjoyed your insights! but honestly, i find it a bit hard to believe that the fiancé would have feelings for you. i mean, isn’t it a stretch to think he’d risk everything by being involved in family drama like that?
Oh, so its her sister's fault that her guy likes her? Even if the guy liked OP, Emily should have dumped the guy first, then hold the sister accountable...
No one believes these are real, right? They’re too well written to be someone genuinely reacting to a real, highly emotional, situation
this video was really interesting and well put together! i have to say, though, i find it a bit hard to believe that the fiancé would actually have feelings for you if the relationship was serious. it makes me wonder if there might be more going on behind the scenes. have you considered talking to your sister directly about it?
I AM SO HAPPY FOR HER!!!
Wow, what a captivating video! You really brought the story to life. Honestly, though, I can't help but think the sister might be overreacting. I mean, if her fiancé was really that interested, wouldn’t he have made a move already? Feels like there's a lot of unnecessary drama here. What do you all think?
Why not just have a "short stories" RUclips page? Why try to pass this off as real?
The story may be realistic, but the way it's written makes it clear that it is fiction.
Us whenever you guys say this is your favourite so far:

Buffy & Angel are one of the ultimates. It ruined a lot of shows for me.
12:57 12:58 the video's timing ....LOL-
this video was really well done and I appreciate the way you approached such a sensitive topic. but honestly, it's hard not to think that there's more to the story here. maybe the sister is just overreacting, or could it be that she knows something we don't? relationships can be complicated, and sometimes it feels like people jump to conclusions too quickly. curious to hear what others think!
this video was really engaging and brought up some interesting points. but i have to say, i’m a bit surprised by the sister's reaction. if her fiancé is genuinely just friends with you, banning you seems pretty extreme and maybe stems from jealousy. what do you all think?
this video was really engaging and sparked a lot of thoughts, thanks for sharing! that being said, I can't help but wonder if the sister is being a bit overdramatic. I mean, people can have close friendships without it meaning anything romantic, right? it feels like she's letting insecurities dictate her big day. what do you all think?
this video is really well-made and brings up some interesting points. but honestly, i think the sister might be overreacting a bit. if her fiancé truly loves her, why would he have feelings for someone else? it seems a bit dramatic to cut off family ties over assumptions. can’t help but feel there's more to the story!
great video! really well done and interesting story. but honestly, i can’t help but feel that the sister might be overreacting a bit. i mean, if her fiancé has feelings for you, wouldn’t it be better to talk it out instead of cutting you off? seems like communication could clear this up. what do you all think?
great video, really enjoyed the perspective you shared! but honestly, I can't help but think that the sister might be overreacting. i mean, if there's no actual evidence of feelings, it seems a bit extreme to ban someone from a wedding. relationships are complicated, and trust is key, right?
this video is really engaging and the storytelling is on point. however, I can't help but feel that the sister might be overreacting a bit. like, it's important to trust your family, and if there's no real reason to doubt the fiancé, maybe she should reconsider her stance. what do you all think?
I hope this isn't an AI generated story (there's some weird perspective shifts that happen randomly and some other things) because family stuff like this happens in real life and it's INSANE.
Switched off phone but notifications still come…
she's made because she's not the center of attion once
My wife wouldn’t let me come to OUR wedding 😭😭😭
OP is better than me I would’ve went and dated the ex fiancé🤷🏽♀️
great video! it’s really interesting to see family dynamics play out like this. honestly though, i can’t help but think there’s more to the story. maybe the sister is overreacting, but it makes me wonder if there’s any truth to the fiancé’s feelings. wouldn’t that be quite the twist?
I really enjoyed watching this video! It was so well put together and the storytelling was engaging. However, I can't help but think that the sister might be overreacting a bit. I mean, isn't it a little extreme to ban someone from a wedding based on feelings that may not even be there? It seems like clear communication could've solved this, but instead, emotions just spiraled out of control. Just my two cents!
this video was really well put together, and i appreciate how you tackled such a sensitive topic. but honestly, i kind of feel like your sister might be overreacting. it’s pretty common for siblings to have close bonds, and her fiancé shouldn’t have to suffer for that. i mean, if there’s no evidence of anything untoward, maybe she needs to rethink her stance? just my two cents!
great video, really well done! but honestly, I think it's kind of unfair to ban someone from a wedding just because of a possible misunderstanding. like, can’t they just have an honest conversation? it feels a bit dramatic, don’t you think?
I hope you sue the family
this video was really engaging and you did a great job bringing the story to life. but honestly, i find it hard to believe that the sister could ban you just for something that seems so hypothetical. like, isn't it a bit extreme? if there's no real evidence of feelings, maybe she should consider talking it out instead of shutting you out completely. just my two cents!
if theyy want to come to your wedding say no
Go op for bringing the law into it...thats not harmless pranks.
I want cake!!!
hey, this video was really captivating, and I appreciate the perspective shared. but I have to say, I wonder if the sister's decision is a bit over the top. I mean, relationships can be complicated, but banning family seems extreme, doesn't it? what if the fiancé genuinely sees the sister as a sister? it just feels like there might be more going on behind the scenes.
great video, really enjoyed the storytelling! however, i can't help but wonder if the sister's reaction is a bit extreme. like, isn't it possible to have a close relationship with a sibling without it being romantic? seems a bit over the top to ban someone from a wedding based on assumptions.
Okay, but that clown cake- why did decorator miss the chance to make sad!clown or scary!clown face on the opposite side from happy!clown face?! Whole undecorated side of a cake there, man!
You don't have to it's there problem not yours
This all sounds like a lie
They got insecure because he had more in common with op than emily, so they dubbled down on their bad treatment. Now karma is bitting them in the but.
I don’t understand these stories. They start with, there was nothing wrong we were not just close. We had different interests and blah blah blah. Then after telling the drama, they start with the whole shitload of bullying n basically neglect by their parents. Like what the hell happened to there was nothing wrong between us.
Part 1 (before the wedding) was good. Part 2 was so damn boring.
Anyone else get a headache from the background cakes?
Ether, tell the back story first or not at all. I don't care what the back story is halfway through the post.
20.05am 😂
Autism.
Real
me fr
Ableism and scapegoating too
My thought too, how she describes the disconnect with her family, the anxiety and all, sounds very much like an autistic kid in a neurotypical family that choses to alienate them.
No, social anxiety and autism aren't the same thing.
Yeah he definitely has a thing for op
For talking to her politely?? Or for calling off the wedding once he realized that his fiance was an abuser??
being kind to people means they have a feelings for them? as if he didn't see it as "oh she's going to be my family one day so I'll treat her like a sister too"? or did you not think that perhaps he just wanted nothing to do with someone who is capable of hurting and abusing her own family?
@@RavenSutcliffe the word abuser has lost all meaning at this stage lol
@@tifadreamers the word lost all meaning
@@anymous8407aight I'm literally just not going to have a conversation with someone who apparently thinks emotional abuse is not a thing
🤷🏼
Way to victim blame.
They no doubt are an attention seeking narcissists and another golden child who can only see the world through their perspective. No ability to feel empathy.
Wow, okay
